this gentleman's videos have me questioning why so many teams run drop coverage with big men who either don't have the agility or the length to quickly go from rim protecting to closing out on the perimeter to boxing out that this style of defense requires
It's such a weird award - gotta play on a good defensive team, not a great one, and you've got to get beat enough to ring up tons of stats by making showy recoveries, but not so much that normal people think you can be scored on.
KP has been so good this year. Without him Celtics might not have a chance at the title. Mazzula still making some questionable calls at the end of close games, but with this guy running at the 5 and clogging the paint, there might be no difference in what Joe draws up.

thank you for showcasing that he's indeed a great player. idk but even as a Celtics fan, i get the feeling that he is not doing good defensively. this is partly and hardly because i don't get to watch the full game and only watch full game "highlights". i think and feel he's no match against the like of Jokic and i magnify his mistakes because of it and haven't see his contribution aside spacing and 3pt shooting as that's the only thing i see in the highlights
His agility has surprised me and the fact that he cares on defense as much as he does. For someone his size he plays with reckless abandon jumping around and changing direction.
Our team defense when engaged and playing like a unit is the best by a mile....JB guarded zion on 35 posessions ...in those 35 possessions....zion had 3 pts and 3 TOs. There is an elite defender at every spot in the starting 5...on ball guys in JB Jrue...off ball guys like tatum...elite rim protection in 7'3 kp...and derek white has the most blocks for a guard in the nba😂😂😂 i love my squad☘️💪💪 great breakdown
This is a welcome video for Celtics fans. Porzingas and the Celtics defense as a whole hasn't been at its best for a while now. KPs rim protection hasn't been good. I chalk most of that up to effort, but still. The Celtics showed their defensive dominance when they're locked in against the Pels.
The Pelicans coach is more 2 faced than KP playing great 7’3 defense. Celtics not guarding anyone bc the Pels have none shooters out there and he refuses to choose offense over defense smh

You really took a lot of liberties with the truth here. It's like a watched a different video. EX: "Slide your feet..." He didn't. He crossed over his right foot over his left and was off==balance. He was lucky on most of these plays that they missed those shots.
Yes Boston's defense looks great....but....NO's spacing is BAD. 4 defenders on ZW 5:40. NO's spacing is a joke. Does NO even have shooters? I think we need some ranting on bad offense.

This year won't be any different. Jalen Brown still can't go left, Tatum still disappears in the clutch, that added an injury prone 7 footer and dru holiday. Great regular season team. Always have been.
