We had some fires out in the Black Hills back in March and she comes out and makes a big deal about doing all that is needed to keep us safe. Now she wants to have fireworks during one of the Hottest and Driest Summers we have ever had. She could have fireworks at Custer State Park which is totally under her control, or even over her own family farm. She wants it over Mt Rushmore so if there is a big fire the US Forest Service has to pick up the fire fighting bills. She is not known as the Gnome of South Dakota for nothing.

California is facing a huge drought and forest fuel has never been higher. Yet, Biden has not banned fireworks anywhere in California. Biden did say he wants to pay firefighters $15/hour - I think that is a pay cut for most. I think their pay should increase 20%, immediately.
