Many of the politicians who espouse this idea -- and seek to forcibly separate me from keeping my house warm during the winter, and eating, and driving to work -- have expensive homes on the beach in California and Martha's Vineyard, but they have yet to sell their properties. Back in 1968 I lived in the Phoenix area, and one August the afternoon temperature got up to 125 degrees.

When I was stationed in California, I bought a new car. Due to all the emission requirements, it got poor mileage and ran like crap. I was then assigned to a base in Illinois, and traded it in as soon as I got out of CA. Reject anything California recommends

@@jeannerogers7085 not the majority of them. i have never seen an EV station powered by solar. those solar panels likely charge the lights that illuminate the charging stations. you would need football fields of solar panels to juice the required energy to charge an EV. ask to see an EV owner';s electric bill. Not only do we not have the infrastructure charges electric cars. They don’t go far enough. And we have criminals snipping the copper wire out of all the charging stations all across the country so you go to a charging station you can’t get charged because it’s out of commission.I will never buy one. The battery plate replacements about 15 to 20 grand forget it ain’t gonna happen. I’d rather ride a bike or ride a horse.😊

Virginia did a great job on this; it is not about denying people of making their own choice but allowing it without forced mandate. You want an EV, fine; go for it. That's your choice... not mine. And more states should do the same; let the people decide and choose for themselves. Otherwise, those elected officials are going to have a growing number of very unhappy and upset people to deal with.

You will be taxed on the increase in value even though you have not sold it. On top of property Taxes. IF your home goes down in value you cannot claim a tax deduction. Stock goes up you and you retain the stock - you will be taxed on the gain even though you still have not sold it. Government is attempting to TAX a Sale that HAS NOT Happen. This is a Money Grab.
