First saw her in 1989 at Glastonbury with Throwing Muses {with Tanya Donnelly), and have subsequently seen her every time she has returned to uk since, whether with Throwing Muses, solo,artist or as an electric trio. Always engaging and the song writing is fantastic. Back in uk in April 2022 and already have my tickets. Her music has been with me through good and bad times and I am always grateful for that. Long may it continue.

Amazing woman, love her personality and how natural, funny and chatty she is. Hunkpapa by Throwing Muses was the first album I ever bought, on cassette no less. Just a unique talent and songwriter.

Hunkpapa was the first muses lp I bought, because of dizzy. Love it! I was so sad when tanya left the group. Never been quite the same, since then, obviously. I love kristen hersh! I think the real ramona was their best album, before tanya left. I did really like the first belly lp, star. Hips and makers is a phenomal record. Kristens first solo one. Something else. And Michael stipe sings backing vocals, on one track. How much better could it possibly get? She just gets better and better. Still love the earlier muses stuff, best. I guess it must be nostalgia. xxx.

Kristin is always such a great interviewee! Personally, I get more out of the Throwing Muses records and performances than solo stuff, but this is still great.

I would listen to Kristin's tap-dancing record... but meanwhile there's a new Throwing Muses album coming out, March 2020 and that's always something special.
