Kristin is the portrait of class, as well as the most complete disc golfer the FPO division has probably ever seen. Power, touch, backhand, sidearm, C1 putting, C2 putting, you name it. Love to see her averaging 1000+ at worlds. Plus the fact that she (as a woman) broke the previous cash record for any player (until Ricky broke it a few hours later, but still) is insanely impressive when she didn't even play all the tour events, especially when FPO payouts are lower than MPO
She didn't play in every event in 2022, actually. She was gone for about a month each during the spring and summer and missed the West Coast and Europe swings and the first few stops on the midwest swing including DGLO, Idlewild, and Preserve. And she would have been the defending champ at two of those events. Imagine how much more dominant she could have been.
kristin wrecked paige mentally ... paige said she lost her competitive edge and didnt care to get it back. thats a cop out line paige . another real lady showed up with mad skills and paige couldnt take it and fell apart and faded away!!!
Paige was sailing from victory to another before, when she was the only star caliber player in fpo. Now when she has to work for the prize, she has lost the edge
So interesting that she says she hopes more players will be willing to come to America to face the players here and not be so intimidated. I think Americans feel this same way about UK and European players.
I know it's been said before, but that worlds trophy is so bad. Truly awful design, not worthy of sitting on kristen's shelf next to all those gorgeous tour series trophies, despite it being her biggest win. I really hope they do better next year
