My top five teams I loved watching for a full season: 1996 NCAA Men's Kentucky Wildcats, 1996 Chicago Bulls, 1997 LA Lakers, 1998 Houston Comets, 2024 Indiana Fever. The entire team made it a show not to miss.
The main problem was and continue to be is rotations. If you look at the NBA and WNBA it's completely different. In the NBA you have a 15 man squad, you will play 10-12 regularly with 10-15 minutes off the bench. In the WNBA you have a 12 women squad, you will play 6 - 8 infrequently with 6 - 10 minutes off the bench. The men play 2 games in 3 days over 82 games. The women play 1 game in 2 days over 40 but Fever played 8 games every night at the start. There are much fewer chances to play which was a major weakness of Coach Sides especially at the start of the season where she let games slip away. Hopefully, Fever will get a new coach that has the experience of doing NBA rotations.
