Krita | Free and Opensource Photo Editing Software 

Techie, as a long time Linux user, I have looked at Krita as an app to edit my photos as I haven't learned Gimp well enough to be able to do anything worthy. I quickly came to the conclusion that Krita was designed mainly as a Painting and Drawing app more than a photo editor and dismissed it. Upon seeing your video title in my feed, I thought you would demonstrate at least a few basic things that the software is capable of, but all you did was show the controls and an untouched photo of a tree. I do not mean sound harsh and grant it that you did say that you are also in the learning process. All I am saying is that It would have been very beneficial to everyone if you would have done something, anything that showed how editing of photos is possible using this software. As a Linux user, I make all attempts to use Free and Open Source Software in all of my computing use and I was excited when I came across your video. With that said, I still give it a grade of 9Plus on a scale of ten where 10 is the highest grade possible. I just ask that in future videos that you provide enough meat on the bone for a brother to at least get a taste. I'm reminded of the movie Harlem Nights, where Della Reese's character Vira, complained to Redd Foxxe's character Benny for the lack of Orange juice left in a pitcher, saying "Benny, here you got my mouth all set for a glass of orange juice, and all that is left is a swalla". Gimp is my go-to. But all I really do is basic resizing, and transparency on created text fonts, and on different graphic file types. I'm on win 10 tho! I only run 7 DO Linux servers. I always wanted to run desktop env on the cloud. Although it would be massively resource unfriendly. Love the channel. Keep pushing.
