"An entertaining story of a robber turned Robin Hood, CBI Officer Kumar Sahni (Shashi Kapoor) is assigned the task of apprehending Vicky (Dharmendra) a dreaded mafia don. Vicky takes shelter with Acharya Ji (Pran), the spiritual guru, of Kumar's ancestral village to escape the police. Vicky's prolonged stay with Acharya Ji reforms him and he quits the world of crime. However, his past comes back to haunt him when Kumar tracks him down. Will Vicky be able to walk the path of salvation?

First time ye movie dekhi rula diya is movie ne hema ki gajab acting v h dharmendra to pure film par akele bhaari pade. Baki shashi kapoor charming jinat emotional nd others are also done good.. Nd pran is another lever of actor. Dharmendra was 46 years old in 1981 as his birth year is 1935

I remember being in class 9 when this film was released. In our area nobody knew what krodhi meant. So we did not bother to go and see this flop movie. This is what happens when people think that the language they understand is universally understood.

I watched this movie for the first time 35 years ago. And l just watched it again today. it has not lost the spell it had on me when l wached it 35 years back, but only that i did not enjoy it as much as l did when l watched it 35 years back. Reasons being that when l watched it back then, i watched the subtitled copy, but watching it on the web now, it was only the Indian language spoken and l cant understand a bit of Indian language. My advice - Bollywood should think of subtitling all her movies on the web, that way, the world will understand Indian movies and culture.This is one of the greatest Bollywood movies of all times. Good actors/actresses. Good acting! Dharmendra was just the cream of the pack.

I watched this movie when I was 9 yrs old. One of the great movies of Dharamendra. Along with Satyakam which in my opinion is the greatest movie ever made in Bollywood. Not everyone can understand the depth of that movie.

For this movie songs were composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and then Subhash Ghai had some dispute with LP so the background music was composed by Kalyanji Anandji who were working on Subhash Ghai's next directorial venture, Vidhaata. Nowadays its common to have multiple music directors in same movie but during those days it was surprising to see both top music directors names in credit titles : "Songs composed and conducted by: Laxmikant Pyarelal" and "Background Music : Kalyanji Anandji"
