let's vote for KRS ONE to be in next year's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame he really deserves to be in it he doesn't get enough credit for hip hop as is let's honor him for hip hop for the next 50 years.....STAND UP FOR HIP HOP!
I actually thought he was a better rapper than 2pac tbf he really was a rare talent and so glad I’m finally getting the chance to see him perform live in the UK
I remember back in like 96 or 97 (I can't remember) when this song came on on the radio one Friday night. I was like 😳😳🥹🥹🥹🥲🥲🥲🥲. I cried a few tears cos I was a nerd and really had no friends. This song spoke volumes to me. I miss those years when music could speak to us.
StanginNbangin RU-vid Account I know. Get the address bl of the Hip Hop organization he runs and send him a letter. He will read it. KRS is that kind of fellow. Sincere and genuine.
Man, one of my best friends moved away really far and I only see him every few years now. When we meet it's like we never parted ways, shit's beautiful. Keep positivity in your heart!
"I send this record to the well respected, friends that I've collected. I hope I am what you expected". That right there sums up this song, mutual friendship! Knowledge Reign Supreme Over Nearly Everyone!
Such an underestimated KRS track. One of the stand-out hits for me and I think one of the best tracks to symobolise hip-hop, the history the mentality and the shared desires/goals of those oppressed in that environment, whether a little or a lot this reflects most peoples environments.
Krs-one the best Emcee i am 15 years old and he is my fev Emcee the art of keeping it real i am from afghanistan but i will do anything to meet this Emcee and thanks Krs-one for keeping Hip hop alive
+Afghan ultimate challengers 73. Plus he's the realest mc of all time in my eyes plus his self titled album is one of the best rap albums in the 90s imo

The fact that I shook hands in person with The Teacher makes this video very poignant. I really am glad that being a Buddhist makes me connect with this dope track.
I grew up listening to KRS-ONE and BDP on my journey as Graf artist, his style and message, as always, relevant and on point. Listening to him is like revisiting my roots. coming home.

This record gives me such a positive feeling within and makes me smile. I love the purity, simplicity and low key lessons taught. Shout out to all the real friends out there. Keep it real.
Hip hop just gives me sich an energy, when peolpe tell me on partys , turn that slow "shit off" , i cannot understand them. I feel everything from this and it keeps me up everyday. Sry bad english
Everybody needs a friend, or at the least to feel connected to some kind of community. It is pretty much the solution to anything. You don't have to hug the weird guy on the street or even give him anything, but learning their name and just saying hi when you see them may make a giant difference to them because they know they got a friend, or at least a connection to the community.
This is the rap music that I loved growing up, dope lyrics, great songs, boppin your heads, dope messages. It changed when beef was too much, not getting worked out and too much over saturation with trying to dumb it down for record sales. It needed to be balanced
Hip means to know, it's a form of intelligence To be hip is to be update and relevant Hop is a form of movement You can't just observe a hop, you gotta hop up and do it
my only friend is my younger brother, them rest of my friends changed just as I did. unfortunately I dont got no day ones no more. Im 25 years old and I cant trust people no more, but its aight. this songs still dope tho. wishing everybody the best! much love
