In this train, over this river, with this endless landscape, in an amazing and mysterious continent. How do you replicate travel of a bygone era, in these modern times? Kruger Shalati would be it. You can hear the clinking of the ice in a glass of gin and tonic while dressed to the nines and waiting to be seated for dinner, with the clacking of the railroad wheels and whistles. This is not a trip, this is a sensory experience and your cinematography has, along with Kruger Shalati, made it come alive. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
that was russian: the english counterpart would be "What amazing photos can be taken of this untouched nature, animals. The color combination is magnificent. The hotel is exceptionally cozy!" according to ChatGPT. And for the rest of the world where interest in luxury travel is high enough: French: Quelles magnifiques photos peut-on prendre de cette nature préservée, des animaux. La combinaison de couleurs est magnifique. L'hôtel est exceptionnellement confortable !
I have said it before and need to say it again, your videos exude a distinctive serenity and at the same time one feels to be part of the journey personally. Thanks for making such wonderful content!
What a lovely and unique stop! So fun to watch the animals, especially the cats ... ! Lovely music, too ... thank you, dear LTE, for bringing us along to places we may never get a chance to visit. God bless!
Beautiful use of infrastructure no longer in use! I love the use of water tanks for the plunge pools. I think this the first time I've seen a video of you on the roads within the actual Kruger park. Very interesting, and looked like some off-roading was available but not as much as in the private game reserves. I don't believe I've ever seen you film sundowners or the breakfast break before either, so that was fun to see! Beautifully shot as always! I've seen some "LTE" imitators pop up a lot as of late, but none are as entertaining and informative as your videos.
Absolutely beautiful. I have been to Cameroon to do charity but it must be a big blessing to be so wealthy and healthy to enjoy this type of trip. Especially that family. I wish I had a life like yours. But everywhere I go I would try to do some charity work.
Absolutely worth every cent and at about $1,500 aus per day for a couple in the train carriages value for money...every part of the journey is meticulously planned & executed with ease and pleasantry that the Western world could take notes on...the food, service, quality, presentation looked divine... the carriage was just beautiful, the attention to detail in every aspects was also meticulously done...the resort and its staff are a credit.... this is one journey I would like to experience and now sits at very top of my wish list...thank you for sharing & for the excellently presented, informative video
Thank you so much for your video and taking us to all these interestinmg places. Maybe you could also write the date of the travel somewhere in the video or the description? This would also be very interstinmg, at least to me 🙂
This is the best combination of contemporary design and luxury together on a train hotel, the shower space looks bright! Other "premium" train versions comparatively has a small shower room, not even mention a bathtub. To talk about the most beautiful airport in the world, probably is, but definite looks cozy, partly because the selection of colour in the airport are unified, I do not know what these colour called in English, but feels really warm.
What I'm hoping for after the Mozambique video tomorrow; maybe a video a flight from Maputo (the country's main airport) to Dubai via Qatar Airways, and then we get the grand tour of the Burj Al-Arab, 7-star hotel there :)
Brilliant video, appreciate the time you took to show the details of the resort & daily activities. Just booked this for 24, of course and searched for videos. On the game drives are the cars made up of your group or is it mixed? Thank you again.
Wow! Out off the world…someday i would love to experience tis… The only thing that’s a contradiction is that the wildlife one goes to experience is the same that one eats off the menu at the lodge…😢
My memories of Kruger Parc was that 15 years ago we were staying in a resort and one afternoon while enjoying the public pool, my father and brother got chased by an elephant that entered the permisses 😂

🎉🎉Yay 💃🏽 been waiting for the Shalati vlog, this hotel is absolutely Stunning 👌 its on my must visit hotels in South Africa. Thanks for blessing us with another wonderful Destination Video❤❤
Hello! I always watch your videos with aesthetic delight, especially how you look at dishes from different countries🤤 Could you add the names of the dishes you taste to the video, that would be very interesting!!
Heading here in September. Your video answered some of my questions and confirmed how amazing the hotel is. For the morning game drives, what was the temperature like? What kind of clothes should I expect to use for this?
Another stunning place in this beautiful country. The "cute wild cats" and the other big five. Many thanks for these breathtaking impressions and best wishes from Switzerland.
Hey Traveler, This is a most unique lodging choice. Look it's a Young Mufasa, Nala and Simba blocking the road !! Pumba on the buffet table !! Shenzi on the second game drive, alas no Rafiki on this trip !! I did not see the junior executive assistant, was he with you on this portion of the trip?
Is drones now allowed in the Kruger Park??,, Ar far as I know this is illegal and one of the reason we all get search like criminals when going to the Kruger
Stay in hotels and areas where everyone is richer than you, so nobody thinks of stealing from the poorest guy of the group. But for this you need to make sure you visibly look poorer than the rest.
I’d be interested to know why you chose to fly to this hotel when you could have driven along excellent roads (your words.) You have children. Do you not owe them a future, by being more aware of your carbon footprint and restricting your already high air miles when you have the choice. Was that 40 minute flight really necessary?
South africa is beautiful, but in my mind there's always the history in slavery bound to that country. And that comes through everytime when it's about entertainment in hotels and such things... So instead of spending like 2k a night, I'd probably do a much simpler stay and then like the rest, 1,6k or so, goes to Amnesty...
