Thanks! This was originally going to be Eldrazi Tribal, but you don't need the tribal aspect to play a lot of Eldrazi, so I ditched the tribal cards and kept the good Eldrazi. I recently got a hold of Emrakul Promised End, Ulamog Ceaseless Hunger, Ulamog the Infinite Gyre and Veldalken Orrey, and the deck has become much more competitive, almost 100% win rate. I'm still looking for the OG Kozilek though to finish ;)
King of Jank but there are so many good eldrazi you missed! World breaker, ulamog's crusher, deceiver of form, drowner of hope, elder deep fiend, decimator of provinces AKA the eldrazi craterhoof behemoth, and the one and only spawnsire of ulamog, and I think this is the only deck where you might actually get to pay the 20 mana thing. Also, doubling cube might just give you about 30 to 40 mana. And you also missed everyone's fav everflowing chalice, dreamstone Hedron, you probably need a few mana sinks: prophet of distortion is bonkers here, dimensional infiltrator to literally mill someone to death (as he exiles nothing can save that mill) void attendant if you want to go more on the ingest theme, planar bridge to grab em at the moment.... I SOO INTO THIS! also, some of the eldrazi drones are incredibly good with this god, they finally get a home ;')
Its true, Deepfiend, World Breaker and Decimator were in this build at one point, but got cut along the way. I definitely agree you can make a pure Eldrazi Tribal with Kruphix, and get to use Spawnsire of Ulamog easily. The manasinks would be nice if you do go pure eldrazi. Who is your current eldrazi commander?
King of Jank right now emrakul, the promised end. But being pure colorless does hurt my ramp, so I have like 10 mana rocks and many mana dorks. Emrakul is less menacing than kozilek or ulamog as he has no annihilator so I rarely get focused until the big dudes are out. And it that betrays+ all is dust is a favourite combo of mine, and kruphix can probably support it with all that mana.
What do you think about adding in Void Winnower, Endless One, or Desolation Twin? I'm just asking because I have those, but I'm not confident enough in my deck building knowledge to know if it would be worth taking something else out to put any of them in.
Honestly the Eldrazi package is very flexible in this deck, and I would put in any eldrazi you like/have if you don't want to spend the money on new ones. I recently changed mine around and took out Bane of Bala Ged and It That Betrays, and added in New Emrakul, New Ulamog, and Old Ulamog. Cards like Reality Smasher and Pathrazer of Ulamog are good, but not essential. For the ones you asked about: I like Void Winnower as a control card, and if I had one, it would be in the deck. Desolation Twin is good and can be slotted in just because you have one. Endless One is the only one I don't think would be too great, as you pay a lot into it for just a big creature with no benefit, besides being big. Thanks for watching!
Sure, I don't see why not. A themed deck is kind of up to you, how much you lean into the theme. I'm not sure I would make it tribal though (with cards like Coat of Arms), just because of the lack of creatures. There are plenty of eldrazi themed non-creature cards as well like From Beyond and Awakening Zone, that could make the deck work.
King of Jank I was already thinking about omitting Eldrazi that are just vanilla beaters. Oh, and do not worry, I already have my dose of Coat of Arms: Varina AND Edgar lol.
Awesome vid! I'm wondering if doubling cube would work in this deck, to ramp and maybe give some buff to Omnath if anyone wants to run that. Also, I subbed after watching, just such good content. Keep it up!
I actually used to run doubling cube but for me it was do redundant that I took it out. But my meta has a hard time dealing with Kruphix in general. I use mana reflection and zendikar resurgence though.
