Ever since I started playing Magic: The Gathering, I've have been known as the guy who opens the worst packs. I'd thought I'd tried to document this. So subscribe for your fill of Jank, and other MTG related content. I plan on pumping out unboxings, deck techs, gameplay and more with a little self-defined "comedy". You'll either laugh or hate my guts.
Back in 1999 I went to a tournament with a red & white deck with Enduring Renewal + Goblin Bombardment + some Kobolds & Ornithopters. As a back up I had some Altars and Fireballs, just in case. I did win quite a lot of games, made it to the quarter finals. I won a prize for most bizarre deck, just because my deck included the kobolds. No one took my poor kobolds seriously.
Side note, double and triple damage enchantments filter through the creature for double the fun. Ex, lightning bolt to brash taunter with dictate of the twin gods out becomes 6 to brash taunter and then 12 to a player. Industructable equipment and feather The reedemer as your commander to repeat protection and damage. Dangerous AF, have fun.
my question is if you are constantly in the loop, where do you have priority to cast anything at sorcery speed if this loop keeps happening? dumb question probably
I love this combo. Minds desire would make my brain implode in paper. But mindbreak trap is good secondary teferi. If an opponent casts an instant and gets value off eye, mindbreak trap any spells on the stack. You kinda have to get priority with whatever spell you cast in reaponse to theirs, so you can exile any spells on the stack from eye of the storm
I know this is 3 years old but for those cards beginning with "When... " does that make it a triggered ability and aren't triggered abilities placed on the stack? I've been in games where mono black players have tried to lock the stack with a split second keyword card then claim regardless of if a player has mana they can't add anything to the stack but I was of the understanding that each resolution of this loop allows for any player to interrupt the loop with an instant speed ability or spell that breaks the combo. Can a response be added to the stack after a split second card has resolved allowing for enchantment or creature destructions to be played even before the first loop of the combo starts?
I made a Mogis deck as my first home made deck. I like what you did , and there are some good ideas here that would compliment my deck. I enjoyed your video
My thing is trying to understand why everyone seems to think dualcaster has to be in hand? Yes he has flash so you can do it safer, but he can be on the battlefield already, that's how the combo continues anyway.
Your premise from the start is incorrect, dargo only checks for things sacrificed with his ability. Flinging him makes you need to resac things for the additional casting cost.
I play Vito and exquisite, it may be an infinite combo but it's not as powerful as one might think at first glance.. exquisite is a 5 mana enchantment that can be and almost always countered. If its not countered then it is removed almost immediately. Vito has it worse tho, because he is a creature with just 3 toughness, he is very easy to deal with and as if it had 'kill on sight' written all over it.. i have about 25% win rate with my Exquisite Vito deck.
In my Blim deck, I use cards like Mourning, on Blim! 4 Commander damage adds up quicker than one might think, and downsizing it by 2 makes for double the gifts!
So, I built a Merieke deck back in 2018, and I thought she was insanely powerful back then. I had no idea this is how her ability worked. My play group is gonna groan when they see she's rebuilt, but they're gonna groan even harder when they hear this.
I have been trying to sus out how this ruling works, if HH is equipped with a life link equipment, And dies with his ability on the stack, does it see the life link still or not?
When a card is nolonger on the field when it's ability resolves then you use its last known state for the purpose of the effect. It would be more beneficial for your opponents to leave it and destroy the lifelink card than to have him die. So deffenitly kill him yourself at the top of the stack so they cannot remove the lifelink from him.
I just got into MTG Commander EDH last week and randomly chose to play an Edgar Markov deck and quickly learned it's one of the most broken decks in the game. Yes, the token generation is good, but once I found the Vito-Blood Tribute combo, it's like, there's nothing this deck can't do. Game plan: Swarm the field with vampires while creating tokens each time until you get a 2 card combo that auto deletes an opponent.
Nice vid! Only one thing I’d like to correct as a Bruvac player myself. Sphinx’s Tutelage effect ≠ Grindstone effect. The Grindstone effect is much stronger as it hits lands in addition to non-lands so is a lot more likely to repeat, though neither hit artifacts so good luck against artifact decks (Myr Welder helps a little though). Nvm, I forgot lands are colourless.
Kinda want to build him with cards that make tokens for everyone, just to maximize the number of creatures on the board when I pull off the etb/sac combo. Alternatively, superfriends, because planeswalkers don't get hit with his board wipe
Who would've guessed that Oath of Nissa would be unbanned and then become one of the most played cards in Pioneer meta? Seriously this kind of videos are very nostalgic. Hurts to see how different is modern pre MH2 (2021) to nowadays. 2019 was the last year I had the most fun, seeing lot of aggro decks in the meta was really cool (spirits, elves, humans, merfolks) but with T1 Fury around, all of that is gone.
To you reading this Jesus can help with whatever problems, hardships, and issues you have. Believe in him He came to save us from hell and eternal suffering, also turn from your sins repent which is changing your life to follow the way of God and not your way, your way will lead you into a pit of despair I know it, my way lead me in a pit straight to hell, but Jesus rescued me and he can rescue you. He can grant a peace and joy unfelt, and be your closest friend always there, This is the gospel Jesus Christ, son of God, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. After he went to his tweleve disciples and many others before ascending into heaven eternally triumphant over all his enemies and making it so that there is now no condemnation for sin to all those who believe, but only everlasting joy.
