KRX 1000 on 35" Maxxis Roxxzillas! Review and Clips 

Looks like a great place to wheel. Thanks for the review. Just like with any machine, bigger tires will kill the power. I agree with you, the trade off is worth it. In the rough, you will go faster with the big tires. You need to give fully disconnected sway bars a try. In the video you can see that you are three wheeling quite often. You will have even a bigger smile on your face. With your shock setup you will be fine on the flat cornering. The KRX suspension design runs great without the sway bars.

Yep they are amazing! more than worth the slight dip in power, I installed them on our KRX and took it to Moab and ran several of the same trails we had on the stock tires and you are correct it is almost like cheating, gives you a sense confidence that you can go anywhere!

What did I miss about the springs......painted the Bandits or put factory back on?

How ruff are 35” on your suspension with the added weight? Break parts more often?

Can you tell me what that damn rubbing noise is that starts at 3:27 and continues every time the KRX compresses the back suspension to go over something? Mine does the same thing. I didn't notice it until it was a couple months old. Stock Carnivores. I see no indication of anything rubbing. Thanks

Very nice. Tires make all the difference...we experiment with a lot of them out here in the sand.

What is your website looking to get weights added to the clutch before I put those tires on. Any advice on doing that I’ve never done it. Thanks

What pound air pressure do you run? I’ve got the 35 RockZillas on my KRX. Bought them in July. Cant say enough good things about them.

Awesome thanks. I have a yxz now, and it’s a little high strung for the riding I do as well. I have had great luck out of it, considering it has right at 8000 miles on it. I live in north west Arkansas, about five miles from Mill Creek and I do mostly trails, rock and everything in between. Just wanting to pick your brain about the krx. Thanks Clay Stephens.

Sounds like a lot of rubbing…. To truly run 35s on a KRX you need some forward arms.

Forgot to add I'm loving the Warp 9 seat rails and Spike flares I got from Right Coast. Sure makes cleanup a tad easier.

How do the roxxzillas handle at more high speed riding in a wide open area? Still flick around well like with the carnivores?

Any mods to the clutch to accommodate the 35s?
