A tip for 'sidechaining' in GarageBand. If you want everything sidechained go into the compressor on the kick and turn the ratio up, that gives a sidechaining effect instead of having to automate the volume
Good tip, thanks! Didn't know about it. But to me personally automation gives more control (and control is something GarageBand is really lacking :D) and it's the closest you can get to LFO Tool :)
Fair enough, using the compressor will sidechain everything which you don't always want, so I do sometimes use the volume tool, and also this is a great remake!
