Hi! I'm the Max. I do camera stuff and software stuff and recently I decided to combine the two stuffs and build an editing app for photographers. Come follow along!
Thank you Max for sharing this project. One question: I did not catch exactly, how to combine step-up / step-down rings in case of Helios, you went very briefly over this part in your video. Can you please tell me how to set-up the rings correctly? Thank you very much.
Oh and as I mentioned in the video, at any point in the stack, add a step down ring and then another step up ring (this would have to be from another set, or a solo ring) so that you get extra horizontal space
nice! looking to do something similar myself soon. hope the photo editing app is going well. let me know if you want another beta tester and I can do my best to help.
I would love to see JPG and Raw photos together, kinda like in Apple Photos app. It's so annoying to see duplicated photos. And then when you edit, you could choose which version to modify
i dont even use lightroom but i love this. good luck and godspeed with this endeavor, may the odds be ever in your favor, etc. 3:15 tag for easy pausing for the HILARIOUS CREDITS IN FINE PRINT wtf everyone pls actually read it it's great 🤣🤣 -(but also is that a typo? "fligts" at the end of 3rd line)-
I support this, and I hope you finish the product soon. I am sick of Adobe holding every photographer hostage when the tools are mostly outdated anyways, we need a true Lightroom killer. Good luck in your venture!
Amazing vid man. Got a couple tips that will hopefully help you in the future. 1- Instead of hiding gizmos. Press G on the keyboard to enter Game mode. It hides all those messy Hud icons. You can also press F11 after that for full screen. 2-Add a post processing volume to your scene. Search unbound and make sure it is ticked. It now applies to your whole scene. This will help solve two problems. Adjusting exposure can bring the scene down uniformly to make it easier to match your lights exposure. You can also adjust the colour temperature in the post processing to make the footage less blue. Tv’s are closer to daylight and might be what was tripping you up. 3-Last tip. Ndisplay chugs a computer more so than a standard scene. When you do a setup, maybe aim for a 720 canvas instead of a 1080 for testing. Good-luck and looking forward to your next adventure!
Hello Max. Do you think you can print me a 3d copy for my Helios 44-4 and my vintage lens auto Chinon 135mm f2.8 Please? I'm working on filming my first feature film and I'm looking for a nice vintage look in the beginning of the movie. I would great appreciate it.
Hey Max, new subscriber here , this might sound stupid for some ppl but ill ask anyway, would this work for a music video, or can you make a music video using this method ? Thanks!
It would, but your limitation will be the screen size People actually do music videos with Unreal on big proper LED wall displays Depends on what you’re trying to do, but you’ll likely need a bigger surface, like a projector at least
Hi dude, great video. How can you do to output de video from the unreal engine to the tv. i only be able to do it using another visor. what i'm doing wrong?
FYI, I was able to get this to work without compressor out or DaVinci Resolve 19 by setting the DolbyVision profile to 8.4. Seemed to work with PQ or HLG, depending on your monitoring scenario. Thanks for the video Max!
You are a gentleman and a scholar!! I discovered your video after I bought a 44M. Will the 44M fit with these prints or should I try and return this lens and get a 44M-4?
Have you thought about using a resin 3d printer ? or a resing 3d printing service , it would give you a better finish and save you the the trouble of airbrushing . the great detail that you have on there would be more pronounce too .
I considered it, there's a 3D shop in my city that has resin printers, but wanted to do everything on my own printer because the iteration count on this was absurd, there's a reason this video took 3 months to make :D
Hey, I've tried printing the mount a few times, but each time, the hook does not seem to raise very far, and quickly the gears moves towards the backplate until it no longer is moving the hook at all. Any suggestions?
Check the number of teeth on both parts the gear attaches to, I've had an issue with Cura slicer where it would sometimes remove one at the edge cause it's fairly thin. I used Creality slicer to fix it
@@MaxRovensky I have three teeth + the bottom edge on the hook, four teeth on the button, and twelve teeth on the gear. Can on you confirm what it should be? I can't quite make it out from the video. I have slightly better results by increasing the gear to 105%, but it still seems like something is off.
