I'm not trying to defend it but you saying it tastes like shit overall means nothing as I could say Powerade tastes shit it still means nothing as its a subjective taste yet you imply it as an objective take. (Disclaimer I do not like prime myself and I'm not trying to defend it or trying to say you can't have/share your opinions I'm just pointing out saying something tastes bad for you means nothing in the grand scheme of things as it's a subjective taste not an objective thing ) Edit: the way I've got people talking is crazy 🤣 like yo I also think it tastes shit I'm not disagreeing with that I'm saying that for those saying it thinking people will magically realise it tastes bad past the marketing it doesn't mean anything to say it does because they either like it, don't care, both or tend hoppers
@@evenpenguin82 I'm referring to the fact its just another generic highly processed drink, that supposedly doesn't taste very nice. I'm also saying fair play to him because he's now worth 100's millions because people bought it. He leveraged his influence in a highly profitable way. I hope he does good with the money.
When Prime came out in Norway the price was roughly 3,3 dollars and now the cost is approximately 0,82 dollars in the store in Norway. Prime is cheaper than the water they sell in the store
@@yourstruly2232 I am currently studying for a PhD in macroeconomics. But yeah It's interesting to see how the market factors and increased availability have pushed the price down. However, a drop to $0.82 makes me wonder if it's also a sign of waning hype around Prime in Norway, beyond improved supply chain efficiencies. It's crazy how much the price has changed since the launch. Additionally, there's an issue with expiring stock in Norway; the actual sales are nowhere near what the stores had anticipated. You could try to compare it to Redbull which goes for roughly 3,24 dollars
@@yourstruly2232Yeah, I'm studying for a PhD in macroeconomics, so I understand that, but the price decrease is still unusually steep. The lowest price for soda, sports, and energy drinks is 1.84 dollars, and Prime is only 0.82 dollars, which is a difference of 1.02 dollars.
@@yourstruly2232 Also, I doubt that many Prime drinks will be bought in the future since the stores are having trouble with the product's expiration dates.
@@yourstruly2232 Just so you know, I'm making a point about the popularity of the drink in Norway. I'm not about to write an in-depth analysis of Prime's sales and profits here in the RU-vid comments.
@@28_ZoD_19I’ve drunk it numerous times and im still alive and kicking and I know people who’s drunk nearly a truck load of this drink and their also fine so yes its safe, just because you don’t like the brand itself or the people behind doesn’t mean you should go around spreading false information
Logan n KSI joining this business n marketing it together made all the difference. When you got two giants like US n UK backing you, you’re a global success!
@@jamesbetired111 and let's be honest, i hope they make all these kids prefer Prime over Coca Cola or other brands. It is really low on sugar and low on chemicals too. At least in Europe/Spain
usually a company that makes x amount of money a year x 6 is the value so if they make 500m a year (prob waaay more) its worth atleast 3b but they make way more
The problem with that statement is that without ksi and or logan in prime anymore due to sals, that billion dollar valuation doesnt mean shit because its their persobal brands that bring them that value. Without them prime is just a shitty sports drink that will whither away
I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere Australia where we have fuck all of anything and our local grocery store sells them, we only have items that are local or huge successful brands and that was within the last year that they showed up so prime is definitely still expanding/on the up
13 mill just in the uk so far this year which isn't even their biggest market, on track for around 40 mill just from the UK, and they're expected to make 5 times that in the US based on projections from the first quarter of the year...they're good lmao
@@lucastheravenclaw2372 when i searched it up it said they're sales dropped by 50 percent this year. personally i think it's the worst drink ive ever tried, tastes like shitty cordial/syrup. and whenever i see it in stores here in melbourne it's always full shelves, no one seems to be buying them
@@Lmikejagger it’s meant to be him Logan and like 2 brothers have like 25 percent at the start so god knows about percentages now because probably other investors seeing how well it’s done
I never thought I’d be seeing Prime all over my local gas stations and grocery stores when they first came out with it but here we are. Prime was a huge hit
shi tastes so fuckin sweet. i bought it here inna german supermarket, cus i jus wanted to understand the hype. and i absolutely hate it. ofc i don’t speak for anyone. BUT GD. shi made me not touch sugar for 3 days fr.
Prime is all marketing, lemon and lime one just tastes like the lemon juice you get from Asda except that’s a big bottle that you gotta mix with water and it’s still cheaper than prime.
@@Yuruo it’s still a flop as it can no longer compete with other drinks it’s going down bad like not like slight down it’s the steepest down any drink has gone 💀
@@abrahamdang2526You actually don’t understand business model do you? Prime has the most outrageous supply&demand ratio still to this day and they’re still killin’ it globally..No offense but not everything is based around US or it’s market
@@akib759 did u not hear what i said? shops buys them in bulk because of the hype behind it, every review u see on the internet with big streamer is obviously fake because no one person i know that tried it says it good 🤣 they’re literally selling it for $1 so they can get it out of the store and no one is buying it, they selling in bulks and the sales are from resellers, the resellers aren’t making money as they just sit on the shelf
Of course it’s gonna sell, it’s 2 decently big c list celebrities. Let’s see how good it goes in 5 years. Because I can guarantee you in 1 year the company is gonna flatline
In my local convenience store, probably close to 100 bottles reached their expiry date and were donated to my school and poured out for a bottle drive. So seems like the sit on shelves for awhile so idk how there worth that much
Good for them, i personally don't like it. Maybe it's just my tastebuds, someone else might like it but so far i didn't enjoy any of em (and that's just what i think about it) other than that someone else might like it ig?
Depends. I tried them all that are available in stores just to not be bias. Fruit punch is basically Kookaid Grape is horrible Orange is horrible Lime is basically medicine Blue raspberry is actually so good Ice pop is so good Watermelon is super mid White moon it tastes like those weird drinks that taste funny but it’s the good type of funny taste. Lemonade I’ll be honest I don’t know how they messed this one up Sickberry is actually goated Cherry freeze is valid enough Last flavor I tried was Strawberry banana and this one is actually not as bad as I thought, just not quite right.
