Check out the now legendary sparring session between KSI and Faze Sensei. This is the third time these two friends worked together. This time it was to help KSI prepare for his pro debut against Logan Paul
@@xbet2005 ksi says in one of his videos that he doesnt know why people think hes stopped training but i doubt hes sparring and stuff right now considering he has other things to do as well
@@killerblademurderslasher8616 Hes need to realize he can't just take a break from boxing while jake paul is gaining months and months of experience on him. I think when he says he training hes talking about lifting or jogging.
@@xbet2005 oh yeah definitely. When viddal was his coach he said he would start having KSI have professional fights before the Jake fight. I dont know if thats still true now since Viddal quit. Jake hasn't fought anyone thats a challenge(retired mma fighter whos known to have the worst striking, whatever anesongib was, and an nba star who has had no fighting experience beforehand) so im not too scared for ksi
@@xbet2005 just remember that Logan trained for 11 months straight for 5 days a week while jj was getting fat and playing Wii And now jj actually trying to stay in shape and yea I don’t really know if he’s sparring either he said he still training but yea idk about sparring
@@romztt8768 he'll definitely need to train for a couple months so that he can match with Jake since jake has been doing it much longer with better trainers
For everyone saying “Ksi is scared and he’s not training”JJ has been training behind the scenes with Viddal before lockdown restrictions got strict in the U.K., has a new trainer(Alexis Dendriades), and has been training with top level pros according to true geordie(which explains why he’s still in shape and why he’s uploading less). (Edit: JJ’s return fight is on Aug. 27th, 2022 & he’s already almost in boxing shape told y’all🤷🏾♂️)
I’m telling the truth btw. JJ even had physio sessions after his training sessions with Harvey, Amer Abdullah said that JJ & Viddal have been training consistently before lockdown(the vid is on RU-vid), and BJ Flores(Jake’s head coach) has been keeping tabs on JJ’s camp and knows who his trainer is.(Edit: JJ recently fractured his thumb during sparring told yall he was still training🤷🏾♂️)(Just seen the 2nd Woodley fight it might be gg’s for JJ ngl)
Not many people realize Sensei actually fought with rib injury that didn't heal yet so those body shots were much painful than usual. But JJ was animal in that sparring match he was always pushing opponent and making pressure. Edit: also they were working on JJ aggressiveness in this sparring match so kinda makes sense that Sensei didn't return punches as per usual
@@biglew1178 I think he was definitely planning to be a bit more unorthodox but not to that extent the nerves hit him im sure he would admit that now. He could’ve performed 10x better and same as Logan to be fair but he just wanted it more and is a dog and went in there with intent to kill. I hope he does a fight before the Jake fight not only to have that extra camp under his belt, but also to have another night under the lights because to be fair Jake has seemed the most naturally comfortable in front of a crowd.
@@biglew1178 That is true. But tbh, if he just kept this style, its would of been a easy win for him. Logan didn't throw any right hands so if Ksi just rushed in and threw body shots and head shots, like he is in this video, Logan would of probably gotten tired or just destroyed. All Logan had that night was quick left hand jabs and that uppercut, which only landed because he dropped his defense for that body jab. Plus sensei is way better than logan at picking his shots, i doubt logan would of done much damage but who knows, he might beat mayweather!
Don’t get it twisted Ksi is better than any other RU-vid boxers and Logan but he has a lot of flaws just his head movement and the way he moves his arms are dangerous against someone that knows how to counter He needs to work on that because Jake is a good counter striker His right hands always tend to do damage
Jj is a good listener he is sparring actual opponents meanwhile Logan Paul is sparring and dropping binmen . When it comes to a boxers point of view this is far more impressive than paying fat ppl to drop them like Logan and jake are clearly doing
@@VolliVolliVolli Sensai is a good a opponent though he’s a real fighter and a pretty good sparring partner and in this clip they’re taking there time doing good and learning good it’s pretty good to me-__-
@@VolliVolliVolli bruh sensai has been doing martial arts and fighting since he was 13 and he has a black belt that’s fuckn hard to get he’s a hard worker/trainer/fighter and wdym a rookie he’s a coach and a fighter for a reason ur wrong PERIOD end of story and you don’t know what’s going on shutup
nah bro and im not here to hate dude those are yes men you need people to be on your shxt 24/7 make no mistakes you see what i mean it’s like deji he had a bunch of yes man in his camp and lost to a kid who wears dresses
This is a very good sparring session. I'd recommend everyone that's learning how to box to study this look for mistakes and watch sensei's headmovement. If you're not a beginner anymore and still want to learn from watching fights I'd recommend you watch some fights of canelo. Of course you can watch older fights from legends like ali, sugar ray Robinson, Joe frazier etf. But I'd recommend to start with watching this.
@@bodman951 yes I know. And I completely agree with you. I made this comment when I was beginner. I still kinda think this is a good sparring session to watch for mistakes but my opinion is obviously different now
@@breyochiona9428 😂 dunning Kruger effect man, play ufc 4. You’ll gain a lot of knowledge on human habits and fighting. Watch it over again, ksi is uncomfortable out of range, his jabs a tool to get in range. Sensei isn’t asserting himself enough in his role, so just like a man in a relationship with a feminist, He gets pussy whipped.
It really shows how much work he put in. In the second fight against Logan he was jabbing him all night. Hammering the idea of jabbing in sparring really pulled through. KSI no doubt can beat Jake Paul in my mind. If he truly sticks to the game plan and fights hard. I wanna see that fight so bad 🙌🏼
@@juniormaqueto4176 if ksi fights sensibly and defensively minded he can beat Jake. Jake's been doing well on the back foot countering people ksi would have to be careful and pick his shots better
Honestly if JJ’s been training this whole time and keeping up with his boxing like he says he has, as long as he tightness his defence I think it would be an even fight between him and Jake
Jake would do nothing with faze sensei.. people need to understand that ksi can also knock out smaller opponents. He has more skill than jake. This video is prime example
I don't care how unexperienced JJ looks in this session, it's a part of the whole process. I just love his work ethic, the dude just keeps going; that "dog mentality". Since this video's almost 3 years old, I wonder how his skills are looking now, considering all the music stuff he's been doing.
You can see the ups and downs of JJ in this spar alone. Pros: Good listener Gets better the longer a fight goes Solid power Great pressure (his best attribute imo) Knows how to use range with his forearms and his arm. Knows how to fake with steps Knows how to change angles Adapts Knows how to slip Knows how to parry Uses his hands to fake well Good jab Good boxing IQ (in the video, Sensei would do his philly shell stance. So JJ threw a left hook to pull down the guard and land a straight right on Sensei) Has Ring IQ (keeps Sensei on the ropes) Cons: Leaves himself open Wide hooks (hooks from the hip) Sloppy punches Has tendencies to get hit Has trouble with range finding (Usually too close then he needs to be) This is just a spar at the end of the day and I know he ain't going 200%.
Faze Sensei head movement, foot work and jab look great. He really doesn't wanna hurt JJ because some of his uppercut cut through JJ guard. OSUuuuu!👏👏👏
ksis footwork needs work his head movement is good but feel like he doesnt pivot enough . he could dodge logans jab but cant get good counters cause he pivoting the dodge into a counter or using foot work to pressure ... his punches are a bit slow sometimes but the seem strong so he should work on his snappyness and form under pressure
I guess that’s no advantage to jake. 3 fights all up what 10 minutes ? Hasn’t really learnt lot in the ring. Ksi has been training through lock down. Think he would really need 1 or two first before confidently being able to smack jake around the ring
@@fameburrrr5928 nobody gives a shit about not knowing boxing I swear ever since jj and these RU-vidrs start boxing every1 thinks their sum pro boxing expert like stfu read the comment and stop acting like ur sick if u got into a fight boxing ain’t doing shit I’d just kick ur arm and ur done
I don't think Alex could even beat the ksi that fought Joe weller. If you look at the few times deji threw and landed, some of them hurt him. He moved back, and he doesn't look like he's good with pressure, and he doesn't have a good chin
KSI looks way better here than what he did against Logan. He's pretty relentless, needs to pace himself a bit but his technique is better than what he sometimes presents.
Ngl i am a KSI fan, but this isn't that good. He actually got his hands up and threw straighter, tighter punches which is good, also showed some knockout power with some of those punches which is also good. The problem though is KSI is far too flat footed, which made most of his punches easier to read (example 2:16 to 2:19). He also leaves himself VERY open sometimes, luckily Sensei didn't look that sharp. Also from what I see his boxing knowledge is still quite beginner/novice level. He just throws his punches without taking the time to look for his openings, also he tries go for the head too much, a bodyshot would do more damage in certain situations. Comparing this to Jake Paul, he knows more about boxing than KSI, he has power around the same level as KSI and has better footwork. However, Jake Paul does seem a bit panicky whenever he gets hit, he scrambles backwards just like Logan but I reckon with more confidence having knocked out 3 people (one of which a "pro fighter") he'll relax a bit more. We already know KSI can take punches and keep going but that could be dangerous. This time around I'm calling it Jake Paul by unanimous decision, I don't think KSI will let himself get KO'd but he will definitely take a beating if he's still around this level. What do u guys think? (This is just an opinion btw and big up u if u read the whole thing)
the vids old man i would say ksi works very hard if he wants to and that’s the dangerous part he has power but sometimes he just put too much makin it easier to counter but overall if jake fights ksi i think it would be and even match
@@connorkimbral3034 he probably meant jake will most likely gonna KO ben askren (and no i’m not saying he’s a bro boxer but he did say pro fighter tbf lmao)
1st, JJ already have a sparring sesion before this soo.. that's makes him really open 2nd, sensei have an accident on his stomach that's why he wasn't that sharp and get down For the details on Viddal vids He explain it And i read the whole thing ☕
I know JJ looks like a wild swinging brawler on fight night and I know Jake looks more dominant especially in comparison to Nate and Ben BUT I don't see how Jake beats JJ if they fought tbh...JJs very techincally sound, Vidal built a good foundation and considering he hasn't stopped training since his last fight, he's miles ahead of Jake at this point
@@gobbyAU i agree with you on this point but we also have to keep in mind that Logan had all the advantages, height, reach...etc so in order for JJ to disrupt Logan's ability to capitalize on his advantages, he threw technique out the window and went wild...however, with Jake, it'll be a more even matchup in terms of height and reach just like here with Sensei so I feel JJ can better settle into proper boxing technique like he did here...having said that, you're right, he needs at least one tune up fight before Jake
@@beargrills5936 its comments like yours that make me impressed with Jake's marketing and buisness skills...man's handpicked opponents that are big names & percieved as dangerous threats but are really not if you give it much thought...Nate being a phenomenal athlete and Ben with lifelong experience in combat sports were perfect picks because people could actually believe they had a chance at beating Jake, making his victories seem like more of an accomplishment than they really were...Jake had the advantage of being more experienced in boxing than Nate and we all know Ben's striking game is the worst in MMA lol...Either Jake's management or himself (depending on who makes these decisions) deserve props for making these fights happen and making Jake seem better than he really is...he's now more relevant and has people like you believing that he's better than KSI which tbh, no disrespect to you, is fucking dumb hahahaha...JJ would absolutely destroy Jake in a boxing matchup...the only way Jake proves he has some skill is if he beats Woodley, who unlike Ben, is a phenomenal striker and tough as nails...that aside Jake has had all the advantages (height, reach...etc) over all his opponents thus far...he won't have that in the JJ fight, lets see how he fares when he cant bully smaller, inexperienced opponents....I admire your strong faith in him though, good on you mate...Influencers need loyal supporters like you...Im sure Jake would appreciate your support
The height gap .Only jab would land if jj played normally , cause every time jj close up the distance , Logan clinches ,made jj had to go wild before those bear hug comes
@@____-hp2sd well it’s true tho. In sparing your not suppose to try to knockout your opponents. Two fighters are suppose to improve timing and technical fighting. JJ is being stupid and having bad form to be able to knockout his opponent for no reason. He should be improving his craft like his opponent is. If he wasn’t going all out, he would have the energy to have good form and improve his craft. Honestly think it’s the Idiot trainers
Sparring isn't about winning. You can't win a sparring session its about improving how you move in the ring, stamina, footwork...everything its about improving not winning
@@miguelgenovata6250 he’s clearly a begginer he just needs to get in and spar with someone who will let their hands go so he can learn to deal with the pressure and learn to stay tucked while throwing punches because he’s very susceptible to counters
@@Chris_yt007 bro, can’t you see? He has more experience. This version of ksi would knock Ben Askren, Nate Robinson, and kill gib. Ksi actually fights good fighters.
There are so many times in this clip where he does good engages but his hands are down when he throws punches and he just looks fatigued. I would love to see KSI spar when he is full of energy and not fatigue. He definitely has decent footwork tho.
God damn.. Was sensei going easy on JJ? It doesn't seem so cuz of the fact he got dropped on one knee lol.. JJ is been good. Can't wait for JJ's return, he's gonna destroy Alex Wassabi.
faze sensei throwing light punches while ksi throwing hard there’s so many opening on ksi if he punch and if sensei counter ksi with a hard punch night night for ksi for sure. but well played. this ksi still would dominate the “youtube boxing” for sure
@@RecruitedAndrew It’s honestly a tossup, Mcbroom has very good technique and looks good for only fighting once. But he is definitely not getting dropped by ksi.
I wish Sensei actually went serious in this spar and gave it to jj both would’ve came out better I know Ksi hasn’t lost n all that but still. Would’ve loved to seen a serious spar
@@elfynwilliams1280 Just ignore them these guys are BRAINDEAD. Of course Sensei would win he’s been training for way longer and in this parring he was INJURED.
People need to understand to help someone out you don’t need to beat them.. sensei held back big shots every single time he sparred some of these guys and that’s how they get comfortable picking their shots

What do u mean you are obviously like 12 and have no idea of boxing I’m a amateur boxer and let me tell u this sensei is letting him work look at the technic from sensei compared to ksi he could have counter any moment and drop ksi but they are letting work for a fight that doesn’t need that much highly ring iq right there walking on walking down a sparring partner
he looks better here than in any of his actual fights but I still don't understand how people think KSI is a good boxer, I like him but am aware that he is not a great fighter
huh? he looks great here, footworks amazing and his conditioning was crazy. clean jabs, clean strikes in general. you obviously just dont know what your talking ab lmao
@snoop dogg because JJ is the not the underdog and his talking alot of smack, so you have fear that he will lose or not fear just that feeling that he might lose because he is being over confident bit if he wasn't talking shit, you wouldn't have that feeling trust.
He needs to work on head movement and he needs to throw more jabs, also he needs to start respecting his opponent and not go marching in like that. Also, he looks very stiff and his stance is too forward
@@Black-pk5fs be more careful of his opponents power, not to underestimate his opponent and know that his opponent is going to throw punches 2 rather than walking into his opponents punches.
@@JoeMama-zm5ce thanks now I understand so basically if he was marching in like this he would get beat the shit out of like fousey did and how if jj did this he would just be walking into jakes rights
The thing is... Where KSI was back then, compared to where Jake was back then... You can see KSI would've beaten Jake at that very time. I really hope he's evolved as a boxer, I really hope he gets back in camp and gets that 1 or 2 extra fights in preparation for Jake. Logan's admitted KSI hits hard, and from what people say, Logan get's the better of Jake in sparring... but he's had the chance to prepare for Mayweather which will obviously make him better... but the thing Jake has is that overhand right, which is painful. I believe both Logan and KSI would've knocked out Woodley, Askren and Nate.... but we'll have to wait and see what happens next
Tbh I don’t think KSI would have ever beaten Jake at any moment in time. Jake just clearly has more natural talent for the sport and has the killer instinct that Logan lacked to beat KSI. I think in every single fight we’ve seen, JJ is good at putting pressure on his opponent but lacks the accuracy and defence that I think he needs to beat a boxer like Jake. Jake would catch him before KSI catches Jake with a good shot.
Sensei is a beast but I feel like JJ's body size got into his mind and he didn't become that aggressive. He looked a bit discouraged when delivering his punches, except when aiming for the head. Now this is a spar, not like that Fall guy who throws it back on that musically rip off app and thinks he's the shit
No. Not at all. He was trying too hard to knock out his opponent in a sparring match, when he should be using the opportunity to improve his craft. He doesn’t even plant his foot when punching and hes basically standing his fighting
@@Slippppppp u obviously never been to a boxing gym. U don’t win a sparring match. And btw having bad form produces bad form in real fights. And yes it doesn’t matter that he spared 5 or more people, it’s his fault for trying to knockout his opponent his he could have been saving energy and improve his technique at the exact same time And it doesn’t even have to be prefect technique... solid technique while training makes your form perfect while fighting, but by the looks of it, he wasn’t even trying to maintain decent form
@@eg-lb1uh won what? Lmaoooo r u talking about the sparring match? Hahahaha u aren’t trying to win in a sparring match, ur not even suppose to go full on. Obviously he’s gonna “win” if he goes full on

He does this thing where he doesn't throw any punches....he does that multiple times like come on man...ik its tiring but u show that to the other guys, like Jake...hes gonna use that to come back And one more thing...he also doesn't commit to punches at times....he goes halfway and comes back....learn to determine ur range...short n quick jabs will help
