Really enjoyed this video some very eye-opening insights for me that I'm looking forward to trying in my practice.I feel like the way I've been taught in terms of stance and draw does not work for my body shape I'm extremely tall and have very big breasts (natural)...which unfortunately can get in the way of my shooting in terms of how other people learn how to draw and shoot. It's much more effective for me the Technic you described holding the bow then drawing breathing aim hold then release. It allows me to position my body much better and improve my aim and calmness exponentially. Thanks!🙏

Wow it really open my eyes further more. For almost 4 years i use the “regular” method that people always teach and i really strugle with form, specially when expanding. So first i try to copy the technique that Brady Ellison and Jake Kaminski did and it didn’t work for the first time because i dont know the basic theory of the KSL method, after watching Jake video and i started to understand bit by bit and i try the method again and it really works for me, steadier aim, easier draw and more stable holding and what i feel the most is now i feel my back working from drawing to release. And after watching this, i cant wait for tomorrow, need to train that holding hehehehe and i think i really need the KSL seminar now Thank you for sharing the knowledge. It really help me to understand more about KSL Method

Hi can you please do video on how is your warp up routine and what kind of excersises do you prefer to make your body "archery friedly" :-)

In my opinion, you have a better chance of having a straighter back if you are further back on your heels as the balls will put your pelvis in anterior rotation. Moreover, the calcaneus is the primary support in your foot and the rest of your body in standing etc. Notice it is the largest bone in the foot. Essentially, being on the balls of your feet forces you to lean forward and be out of optimum balance.

If you're supposed to tell yourself the steps of the shot process how detailed are you supposed to be? Like should you tell yourself every little detail of the shot process that could go wrong or should you focus on the big picture steps? It seems like this method could become pretty unwieldy if your're supposed to be too detailed.

If you can , could you please show the science (articles, etc) that is always mentioned as the rationale behind the KLS style. I have not been able to find anything.

The scariest thing I see a lot of archers do is draw from the sky down I always see this a accident waiting to happen. I was always taught to always be safe arrow control, muzzle control and bolt control. Always load a bow, gun and crossbow in a safe direction arrows should always be loaded ground up. This is just in case you slip up on the draw it will release in the ground not up in the air.

There are no "good" bows under $100.
@greenhoodedvigilante458

You can try "Mandarin duck phantom." It's about 100$. You can use that for hunting. Problem is, it's too loud, so you have to make it silent. Follow the video, "How to silent a recurve bow" from 'Survival Lily' channel.
@greenhoodedvigilante458
@greenhoodedvigilante458 4 года назад
You can also try "Mandarin duck black hunter", which is wooden riser, 150$, but that bow is better than phantom in my opinion.

@@jasmeetsingh4244 If you want to get a decent one you better be willing to spend more than 100 dollars for a hunting bow but since not everyone has that budget then one brand I can recommend is the Chinese brand Junxing. They sell some hunting bows at a fairly cheap price and I think you should take a look at them.

I'm watching this for (about) the 5th time in a week. Really helpful - not least when viewed with Coach Lee's own site open in another tab: www.kslinternationalarchery.com/Technique/KSLShotCycle/KSLShotCycle.html That said, I found this video only after finding one of yours from 2015 dealing with draw technique ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9vAJ3s1jSPw.html ) and I think now you would now give slightly (but importantly) different guidance about drawing a bow than perhaps you did a half-decade ago (freeze this video at 17:00 and compare your early 2020 form with Feb 2015 at 3:40, at the same stage in your pre-Coach Lee draw. The difference seems quite striking) Please don't misunderstand me - that's absolutely not a criticism - we go through life, we learn new stuff, we change our advice. But it may be worth thinking about ways of referencing that shift in future videos, not least because your content is hugely valuable to me (and I am sure, others like me), and I am pleased that I am now aware of how a few intense days in December 2019 marked a turning point in your own approach to archery.
