Kinda old Soviet. Cox left out per capita and population but then he’s never very specific. He also left out trickle down baseline budget economics. State of Utah has to spend money somewhere to maintain th 1% increase/ mob kickback from the Feds to secure the fiscal welfare the govt in this state has become accustomed to. I’m not entirely sure cox isn’t laundering dirty money in order to make educators guilty by his process.
@@AJ-ib4oy Um no, because the boarder to NM may be mathematically infinitesimal but it does exist. So 100% total liar pants on fire because technically he's wrong.
My sister is a teacher in Utah. They are required by law to post her salary along with all other school staff's salaries. You can literally look up your school and see how much each teacher makes. She's been teaching about 20 years and is the highest paid at her school. She makes 103 k annually. And again between spring fall, Christmas breaks and summer vacation she gets almost 3 months off per year. If you made $50,000 to work 2/3 of the year, you'd be making an adjusted 75,000 per year which is not that bad starting out. Obviously as you continue in your career, gain more teaching certifications and experience it opens up the opportunity to make more money.
@@mamamuzic oh my grrrsshhh brrrp brrrppp I think whatever i'm told by democrats.... How does anybody afford anything on less than 80K per year? What's your plan to fix that? Vote for more democrats and double down on the problem? Maybe raise the minimum wage to $40/hr? Nobody can afford anything now. Not just teachers. Get over yourself
