Struts are incredibly important in KSP 2. Any side boosters that aren't attached with at least two decouplers or one strut and one decoupler will vibrate it self to pieces.
For small probes there is a Science Jr Jr in the first tier of the tech tree that is smaller and lighter than the regular Science Jr. it is just to the right of the “Small Payloads” unlock that you did at the end of the video, called “Research Miniaturization”
@@averiWonBTW science transfers between all parts, including kerbals and pods etc, so you can destroy your whole craft and land with only a kerbal and still get samples and data
