Azivegu Big doesn't really mean anything, it's still the same asset as far as polycount and texture are involved (I think). Also the welded addon must fuse together the pieces used, so that the physic engine doesn't need to render / calculate for each individual piece, only a big one. That makes the maths a whole lot easier on the game engine and your computer.

i discovered many glitches in my antics, the way the pannel txture ends up above the collission mesh and how if you return to a part whoses size has been increased by the confic if it is the root part it returns to nomal size causing all parts to implode!

+revampedharpy09 Well there aren't many more objects than most big rockets and tweakscale only adjusts the size, not the quality too i believe. And he must've sped up time a bit too.

Admiral Von Schneider true but i did have loads of stuff in the background (including sony vegas rendering a video which was very stupid because any pc runs way slower when its rendering) and i had ALOT of mods. literally like 80-90 mods and the game was very unstable because of it. plus theres the fact that ksp cant properly use my cpu because its octo-core but unity 4 only uses 1 core so i guess the above stuff is probably why it crashed so much now that i think about it.

If you made a ring that circles Kerbin, the game physics would probably notice that the center of mass is a tiny distance from that of Kerbin and flip out. Maybe only when you time warp.
