KSP - Trying something else 

I decided to use wings for air braking and more accurate steering during landings, the only problem is, usually they place the engine not where I want it, to gain the best point of balance between mass and lift.
I tried the same rocket, same landing pattern and my rockets usually burn up in the atmosphere. I'm using mechjeb because there needs to be some consistency during testing.
