Kerala Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bought 50 new electric buses under its subsidiary company K Swift for its city circular operation. The fleet consists of fifty (50) PMI Regio (9 meter) electric buses.
In this video we are brining up the details of KSRTC's PMI Regio electric buses. The PMI (Palace Motor Industries) is a Haryana based bus body builder. The PMI has an excellence of 40 years in bus body building industry. With the collaboration of Chinese company - Photon, PMI has delivered 1000+ electric buses in India. The Photon provides the aggregates for PMI to assemble the electric buses in India. There are there models for PMI in India, namely 7M Lito, 9M Regio, 12M Urban.
KSRTC has purchased fifty 9M Regio electric buses for its city circular operations. The electric bus has a seating capacity of 30 passengers & 1 Driver. There are 5 battery units which are serially connected which generates a power of 151 KWh. The batteries are of Lithium Ion and are IP68 rated. The bus can be charged in 45 minutes to 1.30 hrs using a 120 KWh DC charger. The total range in a single charge is 180 km.

Ksrtc, യെ കൊണ്ട് tvm പോലുള്ള തെക്കൻ ജില്ലകൾക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് പ്രയോജനം. Malabar മേഖലയിൽ ksrtc വളരെ കുറവാണു. ഇതിന് ഒരു മാറ്റം അനിവാര്യമാണ്.

Long buses കഴിവതും സിറ്റി യുടെ ഔട്ടർ ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് മാറ്റി ഒപ്പറേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുക (bypass garages ) നഗരത്തിൽ ഈ ടൈപ്പ് ബസ്സുകൾ ഓടിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ ഒരു പരിധി വരെ ഗതാഗത കുരുക്ക് ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ കഴിയും അതോടൊപ്പം നഗരത്തിനുള്ളിൽ pollution വളരെ യധികം കുറയുകയും ചെയ്യും.

1 വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ battery down ആകും മൈലേജ് കുറയും. പുതിയ ബാറ്ററി ക്ക് 20 ലക്ഷം മുതലാണ്. അതായത് പുതിയ ഒരു ബാറ്ററി വാങ്ങാൻ ഓരോ ഡിപ്പോയും വിൽക്കേണ്ടിവരും. പരിഹാരം ഇന്നാട്ടിൽ ബാറ്ററി ഉണ്ടാക്കി യാൽ വില അഞ്ചിൽ ഒന്നായി കുറയും. കേരളത്തിലെ ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് വ്യവസായ ശാലകൾ ശവപ്പറമ്പാക്കിയ തിനാൽ വല്ല നാട്ടിലും ഉണ്ടാക്കി അവർ പറയുന്ന വില കൊടുത്തു വാങ്ങിയാൽ ഡിപ്പോ വിൽക്കേണ്ടിവരും. 6മാസം മുതൽ 1 വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ മൈലേജ് കുറയും കപ്പാസിറ്റി കുറയും. ഗ്യാസ് + electric ആക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ ok, യാത്രക്കാർ പെരുവഴിയിൽ ആകില്ല. അതിനാൽ 6 മാസം കഴിയുമ്പോൾ കാണാം കട്ടപ്പുറത്തു.

Ksrtc ക്ക് പുതിയ വണ്ടി വന്നാൽ നാല് വർഷത്തിനുള്ളിൽ എല്ലാം കട്ടപ്പുറത്ത്, പിന്നെ പതുക്കെ പതുക്കെ എല്ലാം മാഞ്ഞു പോകും, പിന്നെ ഉടനെ പുതിയ കുറേ എണ്ണം വരും. ഇപ്പോൾ കുറെ പുതിയ ബസ് വന്നു എത്ര കാലം ഉണ്ടാവും എന്ന് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണം... 😂😂😂😂😂
