My optinion both are from same source ( oem tool ), just different brands/marketing....none of them have "real offline version", maybe the quality of inside componets can be slightly different, until now i think are doing the same protocols(even they say different) i have not saw an ecu not able to read by kt200 and working with fox(except user mistake / wrong pinout / wrong file mods but those are not related to the tool ). I`m not relay on KT200 as main device but always worked for me when i used it. I have chosed KT200 sience some time.
A simple comparison, 1. KT200 will be launched in August 2022, while foxflsh will be launched in November 2022. They cloned the KT200 2. KT200 has 3 servers, while foxflash only has 1 server 3. KT200 does not require activation, and there is no limit on the number of computers used. Foxflash needs to be activated every time. Only 3 computers are allowed to be activated, and the computer time will be modified every time it is used, making other software unusable. 4. KT200 supports offline and online work, while Foxflash only supports online work
@@Dan-ds3ujHow true or reliable is this source? Only thing with KT200 they stopped support so you are forced to upgrade to kt200-2 for updates and have to spend money. How long before kt200 V3 is released and have to pay more? Foxflash are still with same device...
If you have kt200 don’t worth to go to kt200II there is nothing new in my point of view also there was no update in 6 months, and first update released require to buy a new board.

Regarding hardware i have not seen difference in quality except the colour of the coating for board. I bet both have same grade of quality(low) for components taking in consideration are made by same company. Main board its same v1,v2…
After KT200II is activated old device will be disabled and not working ( the software will not open - No autorization from server ) for online version, also offline version will stop working ( license for dongle will not be renewed from server )

Hello, short answer KT200 don`t have anything to do with diagnotics, SM2 Pro its a good tool for diagnostic works on most OEM Software, get a Launch or an Autel device for starting with diagnostics. But are alot to discussion to give proper advice.

Only some new ecus on list but never tested the new ones they sayed kt200ii will get updates but until now nothing, i never bricked an ECU with this tool, but i tend to use bench / boot and not work via OBD. But my KT200 its directly from manufacturer, i saw there are clones to clone…
Hi, if you refer to 16Mhz resonator it has been changed to Murata(blue one) other components i did no check, i don`t do rework if device is working and don`t have failures
I have kt200 which getting stuck a lot of times when trying to write the ecu , it stuck on 70% 80% , will i get that problem off if i upgrade to KT200II , i have kt200 auto version online . It is urgent please give me a feedback about the KT200II , i am hesitating to upgrade i appreciate your reply
Hi, did you try to write back original files ? Most of time can be from file wrong modded. I read few ecus with kt200II its working without issue for me.
