Trail Love: Michaux State Forest Edition” maintenance event on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The event celebrated the 40th anniversary of KTA’s Trail Care Program and National Trails Day.
The event went exceptionally well, with 56 volunteers spread over 4 projects into 6 Trail Crews. Of the volunteers who responded to the question, 15 indicated zero experience with trail maintenance before Trail Love. Many partners assisted with planning, helped at the event, or led a trail crew; funding was provided through a South Mountain Partnership mini-grant.
