Would you say the Non R version is better suited if 80% of your riding is road riding? Prefer the look of the R though.

How it compares to a 701? I currently have a 701sm and thinking of changing to a 1290SAR bcs being 6'4 tall long distance travelling with the Husky is forbidden!
