Is it as much fun as it looks, 11 months later? I have a cb1000r for the street but get sad when I can't peel off onto gravel roads without worry like I used to with my old bike. 390 ADV seems like it could bridge the gap.
@ZigWheels Just curious, since both share so many similarities, if you already have a post 2018 390 Duke, wouldnt just swapping the shocks/springs make it good enough for touring? I do know the rake is slightly different, but instead of investing in a similar bike, this could solve it at lesser cost right?
We can't compare both this bikes in one category, but both bikes have a upper hand in their own category. In future the Indian adventure turing bikes will be judged before 390 adventure and after, it opened a new possibly for a average India.

Duke 390 bs6 has very low ground clearance due to rerouting of exhaust pipe coming from the under the engine now. I am afraid it will now hit speed breakers easily during daily commutes.. What do u think?
adv is little bit overpriced in my opinion compare to duke 390 . I have duke 390 Bs3 beast but the Bs6 got quick shifter and the matte grey color looks fantastic, but there is no point to upgrade for me , Lucky new buyers.
I'd rather choose the 390 duke and spend the difference in touring mods and saddle bags and some safety gear. And anyway if the performance is same, in off road where it's not about speed the duke will be almost similar to the adventure.
Duke can touch 170 -- 180(depends upon road, rider, wind and so on), adventure will also touch the same speed but will take extra time as it is a tourer and a little heavier.
Just watched another video and it all looks great until you realize the warranties on these bikes are not full coverage... It's basically motor and frame and even that I hear complaints about dealers not honoring the warranty
