Zanas are not the best when it comes to bike protection . never been a fan of them. especially their design sucks every model. there are other indian brands that does a better designed better quality accessories for ADV bikes for similar price range. and the famous western branded ones are ridiculously expensive
Yes, I could not agree more. The aircraft grade aluminum is way overboard for the KTM 390 Adventure, imo, making the American brands too expensive. Do you know of any GOOD skid plates from Indian companies?

Surprisingly this is the first India product that hasn’t worked out for me. Everything else has been amazing. Sorry to hear you haven’t had much luck. Motourenn is a super reliable company. There are a few others, but there are also a of junk ones too. Hit or miss.
@@advinjapan most of the indian websites didn't have option to ship to canada so I bought them from ebay. I am just going to order the heed crash bars and buy the powerparts skid plate. I did buy the rear rack and luggage racks from xitomer/aliexpeess they did fit great
I mounted SW-Motech and it sounds like I'm inside a bucket when I'm on the bike. It also "touches" on the exhaust a little bit as it comes out of the engine, which I think adds to the noise. Adding extra nylon washers is not an option as tolerances are too low and adding washers just makes it impossible to get mounted. If anyone is looking for bash plate - I don't recommend SW-Motech for KTM 390 Adv. Hopefully this helps people to choose the right one.
I have the "T Rex Racing" skid plate on my 390. Very happy with it. I did add some hard rubber washers between the mounting points though. Had some vibration issues. Just went to Lowes and got them, no big deal really. I did contact T Rex and they would of sent me some but, Lowes is just down the street and I'm always in there anyway. Probably won't use the "oil-change" option as it's only four bolts to remove the plate which has to come off to get to the lower filter anyway.
I did the black dog. I figured buy once, cry once. Problem is you have to remove and reinstall the resonator. I fought with that for a few hour sand then ordered a mid pipe replacement and exhaust gaskets. The midpipe couldn't use the large gasket but was a snug fit. It is definitely a beast. I likely how it covers way backtoward the tire.
