Me on mikes KTM 505 SX going up against my buddy Cody on our 2006 LTR450R at the Mason Dixon dirt drags in Delta PA! This was the finals in the 501-700 Stock Class!
Mods:
KTM5 505 SX: STOCK.
LTR450R: DG Bullet Slip On, Hydraulic Clutch, Cherry Bomb.

Kind of surprised the 450 could almost hang. My stock 505 hasn’t been beaten by any stock quad weather I’m the one riding it or trading with my raptor friends. The KTM is just faster period. I can also same the same for my 450 and 525 XCs. Not sure what either of those guys have done tho.

Yeah, I was lucky to get mine right out of the gate. I’ve had so many offers that are well above what I paid. I’m hanging on to these things for a bit. Still not sure a better quad has ever been built (sport that is). Nothing I have ridden anyway including the new Yamaha 450.

No way, the LTR have arround 41-42 hp... the 505 easily over 50 hp.
