I see this video and want to buy smc but in reality even if i buy it and go outside for a ride there's gonna be nothing even close to that beauty places you ride at.
@@Blacklake69 yes haha this landscape looks beautiful but i live in south germany in the black forest and i am used to our countless roads with all kinds of corners like the road in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3FXGd88SPHY.html . sometimes i forget that i live in the best area of germany for riding a motorcycle because i am so used to it
@@sumo.niggle haha damn that's a beautiful road. We're planning our third trip to Norway to get away from these boring roads lmao, hard to imagine experiencing those roads every day
Imagine living in Poland around warsaw where the only corners which you have are the traffic circles and crossroads. Fuck my life T_T I need to go at least 300km for decent roads. Never experienced something similar. I was impresed by @blacklake road but @mike killed me T_T I am so fuckingj ealous
Yep. It's a mix of balancing it against the wind and rear brake. After ~160 kph it doesn't require as much power to keep it up because the wind just picks the nose up for you lmao
@@raaf1303 oh. Could be just a matter of technique, you do have to give it a small well timed yank at higher speeds to lift the front. Under 50 kph it's quite certain to wheelie just by keeping your back straight and not leaning into the bars. If your bike has some mileage on her (over 20k kilometres) I would suggest changing the fuel filter. Have a look at my newest vid to see the difference it made, certainly makes wheelies alot easier too
@@raaf1303 You have to (or should atleast) drain the fuel tank, unscrew the 4 screws from the bottom of the fuel tank and you can pull the fuel pump out along with the filter. It's not a particularily difficult task, just annoying fiddling with fuel. KTM sells a filter kit but I guess some basic filters would fit also
Oil change every 10 000km, very easy on maintenance. Should definitely be worth buying 2nd hand, I've had mine for the 4th summer now and have had zero problems before this summer. At 34k kilometres I unfortunately just lost a stator and after that got fixed I fried the clutch somehow. But piston-wise etc. they should be bulletproof
I mean, probably yeah. My suspension was stock on this bike, but comparing the Super Duke's soft suspension to a friend's S1000RR's stiffer suspension, the S1000 stays much more planted to the road, but isn't as chill to ride. I would think these setup kinda differences would make a noticeable difference on any bike.
@@Blacklake69 hiya there, thanks for the reply. Are you picking up in second at those high revs? I’m geared right down, but toying with reverting to stock after seeing this as love a good wheelie.
@@Ukmongoose3 on the fastest wheelie I picked it up on sixth gear without clutch. Just needs a small bump on the road and a bit of practice to get the technique right. You can easily do it in 5th gear at ~140 on a flat road
