As soon as I touch 5th gear on my friends 350 I get scared and remember that I have to slow down at some point. Shits scary, especially 40mph and above
I had a 09 85 up until last week when I tried to buy a full rebuild kit for the top end . When I got a quote of £600 back it went up for sale 😂 I also have a yz85 and a cr250 . really cant see the rage with ktm's but everyone's different
@@honda8192 I no exactly what I'm doing. A company called jud racing who in the UK supply the largest amount of ktm parts quoted me that on parts . If your buying a tope end rebuild kit with barrel for 150 dollars something is wrong my 98 cr barrel is 250 alone without piston wrist pin top end bearing ect
@@honda8192 after so many years ktm stop producing parts for the market on there older bikes . So when it comes to finding parts for earlier bikes it's stupid to get hold of them without paying oem ktm prices
yeah he grinded the gears a little going down gears. When going down the gears pull the clutch in all the way. Not quarter way. you'll just chip the gear teeth otherwise. Good upshifting though. Just need to perfect rev matching. fast for a little bike though 65 mph not bad.
You can shift way faster on those bikes. Let it rip! They're a synchronized trans. Just back off the throttle for a brief second as you bang the next gear. You don't even need to use the clutch but I still do myself.
