Very comprehensive Parth! I think my favourite part is the tail rack as most of the other tail racks entail removing the grab rails and I really don’t want to lose them.
do you think its possible to install the ktm 390 adventure headlight unit to the ktm 250 adventure ? taking delivery of the 250 adventure tomorrow and really like the led headlight setup of the 390 .
KTM has a lot of sensors bro. There might be some sensor that don't match theoretically. But technically, yes it is possible. If you are in Bangalore, i can set you up with a mechanic with whom you can try.
Hii Parth, may i know the size of easy tags installed on ur crash bars please. I would also want to know about the installation of DRL of hand guards. Any recommendations on wiring ?
Easy tag is Standard Size. If you have rope wrapping then get L or XL but not needed otherwise. DRL handguards lights i did not install but you can install it to the front of the bike. Under the headlight, there is a small plastic flap which you can remove. Inside that you will get the ACC1, ACC2 and indicator connectors. Connect the DRL to the ACC2 port.
Bro is it possible to show how maddog wire haness has been used for auxiliary lights connection. I have ordered maddog wire harness and switch. will the length of 1.5m sufficient ? Do we have to use any more additional connections or the provided wire harness is enough ? and where shud i connect ? please help.
Good effort on your part to explain the mods clearly. I was thought about apache mirrors mod before, but didn’t try out. After seeing your mod I’m convinced that I should also do it. A query, regarding prospec easy cruise, I already have bark busters installed, so I was thinking whether easy cruise would work or not. Any suggestion?
hello Parth, i see a (light blue?) washer or a nylon ring between the easy cruise and your grip . did that come with the easy cruise . i did not get that anything like that. but now i see it in the image on their web site too ... yrs is probably the most modded 390 adv out there . thanks
Hey Hitesh. That was needed on the other bikes and since this was tested on mine, i got it. Later on it was removed from the product because our bike doesn't need it.
Nice mods man but try duke 390 exhaust on your bike as I have seen on advs it luks dope then the stock one...and u can removed db killer of it easily without affecting the engine too...
Akrapovic is 85k in India. Also might cost more with customs duty. And after market exhausts are not legal. Cops will catch, break it and fine you. I have modded my stock exhaust for free flow. Sounds way better. I will show in next video :)
@@parthmenon bro I have double checked and it’s gear oil. Change it asap. You take good care of your bike and don’t want this to spoil your chain. Engine oil is ok too as it is also a lubricant but it attracts dirt more. Gear oil is a blessing in disguise.
Can you please share how did you put that Crash Guard Radiator Joint Mount ? I got the same one but having some difficulty of putting it together Fully.
I'm still waiting for that to be released here in the Philippines.. there are rumors it will be released in november. Still can't decide if i'll go with duke390 or 390adventure..
Bro I'm planning to buy adventure 390. People said that ktm provides a GPS if we pay extra for 390( I'm not talking about that inbuilt, phone connected turn by turn navigation). Have you heard of it?
KTM does not give a GPS but it has a GPS mount on which you have to fit a gps like mapmyindia or something. Its not part of the console if thats what you were hoping
Dude they have KTM app you need to connect the app and keep your google maps on then you will get nav directly on TFT screen. However, you are suppose to pay for the app.
Thanks bro :). The headlight stickers is actually a wrap. You can get it at any small stickering shop and they will do it. Its just 150rs or something. In Bangalore, please go opposite to Ayyapa temple in Banaswadi.
Hey Parth! Love your videos as they have been useful for adv 390 owners. Quick question- have you had issues with your quickshifter after your first service? Mine was working flawlessly before the first 1000km service and after it- doesn't seem to work properly. Appreciate your response!
@@parthmenon it just refuses to shift up some of the time. The downshifts are perfect. But upshifts don't work especially when you rev it between 4-8km rpm
Yes bro, i have. Handlebar risers the ones i got did not suit me. I am waiting for Carbon Racing Type 2 ones to release again. Sprocket i had gotten one from Sparrowteck but that was horrible quality and bad experience. He is supposed to send me the correct one as a replacement so waiting for that
@@parthmenon I own a 390 Adventure as well. I have changed the front sprocket to 14T though it improved low end, it has increased vibrations and heat. Do let us know your observations on the rear sprocket and carbon racing type 2 raisers. Thanks in advance
@@udaybhanu3443 i had also done the 14T change but the heating, high rpm and vibration was too much. I would recommend to remove that and put the stock 15T, an iridium spark plug and BMC air filter. Then get a 47 or 48T rear sprocket whenever a good company comes out with one :).
Neither bro. Get Automel or Fantasia. Automel if you want to retain the stock grab rails, Fantasia if you want to replace them with metal. Saddle stays, get Carbon Racing if you want their panniers in the future, Automel if you are only using bags and HDTCustoms if you are going for RE or other panniers.
