You're absolutely right, it sure sounds like a 250, and the cylinder looks big enough too, not sure about the four stroke, but what the hell is a 225? It sure doesn't look like a ttr. And as for the jump, I'm not sure, it doesn't look like 100 feet to me.
Ryan Yaw ya but its more along the lines of a 2010 or 2011 not a 2014 and if my judgment is correct its riding on fatty gold series fmf pipes witch are powerful but heavy
Why is this comment section filled with idiots who know nothing about dirt bikes. first of all KTM make the best quality bikes any one has ever made and Japanese also make awesome bikes like , Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki. Before you comment get a god damn education!
Your first sentence is an opinion and is not a proven fact, KTM makes bikes but not ''the best quality bikes ever'' thats just simply your opinion and it's not based on facts. (You can't even do that in this case) To your last comment it should've been, ''Before you comment you should get a proper education first.'' Next time refrain from posting stupid shit since you'll make yourself look like a proper fanboy that lacks some common sense/knowledge.
eden lawton You just got told. Guess you're one of those ''idiots who know nothing about dirt bikes aswell''. Funny thing is, you tried to act like a smartass but you just completly failed.
brickson98 MotovlogsAndGames Lol, almost every video of a Honda blowing up it's always a 250R. Kawasakis KX250F is an amazing bike, I'd say the best outta the 250Fs and the 450Fs.
What these pros don't get!!! Too many orange Austrian built jumpers! Same old shit. Buy a diff colour ffs. Unreal! Every time. It's ktm ktm. Fuk boring
1. The 2 stroke is a 125cc, read the annotation and description, the exhaust is aftermarket and is a slightly different shape. In my opinion and nearly every other commenter on this video thinks it sounds like a 125, not a 250. 2. The 4 stroke is a 250cc, not a 450. Read the annotation at the start, it also has an aftermarket exhaust making it sound different (more like a 450).
Wow, mind = blown seeing this in recommended vids with a mill+ views.. Anyways the bikes are a 09 250sx and 11 350sx-f neither have any motor work done to them at all. Suspension, bars, and grab holes are the only mods. I know this because I'm the one on the 250 in the video.
I, as well as MANY other people, cannot do a wheelie like that. He got the front wheel WAY up and was moving pretty slowly. That takes quite a bit of skill. If you can do a wheelie like that, please post it on youtube.
n30999g: the term dirt bike is just a general word...motocross bikes are built to be raced on tracks and are typically not for beginners (can also be ridden other places such as trails) hope this helps!
It is a 125, but it can't be too tiny to be a 250. They are the same size. The difference is the sound and if you look at the engine, a 125 looks slightly smaller than a 250.
I don't know about you bub but I know for damn sure ktm never made nor ever will make a 4 stroke 225 lol like i had said unless its a custom bore its either a 250 or 450 4 stroke. and yes that is a 250 2 stroke the expansion chamber (exhaust) curls over to the right down and around to the right side and back. On a 125 2 stroke it goes straight out and over to the right. yes i read the description and it is incorrect learn some about bikes before just believing what everybody tells you.
dude, they're both 250cc, although i think the one with half orange rims maight be the 4 stroke version which is weird as a general rule of thumb they use 2 strokes for FMX as they have a much quicker throttle response and faster acceleration. If they're not 125's or 250's then what are they? because ive never seen a 450 2 stroke, have you? and the 2 stroke is most certainly not the 150cc that KTM do as it uses a similar sized chassis as the 125cc.
I know the guys in the video. They are from mc extreme in cobourg ont. the one guy in the 4 stroke is Jason "air born" Thorn. I'm not sure the other guy tho. The 4 stroke is a 2011 ktm 350sxf and the 2 stroke is a 2010 ktm 250sx. Stop the argument because most of you don't know anything about what your talking about. Thanks
BAD ASS!!!! That croud shoulda been goin crazy shown mo love those dudes put on a bad ass show and risk there life every jump JUST TO PLEASE YOU!! Think about it thats some amazing shit and i ride and wish i had the nutts to even jump that shit let alone let go of the handle grips!!! MUCH LOVE HERE YO!!!!!!!!
No it's not, you can see at 0:00 that it's a 250, look at the pipe. The second bike is a 4 stroke which is definitely not a 125 or 225 because that capacity does not exist in KTM's range.. the 4 stroke is a 350 because it has no kick starter and does not have the head and cylinder of a 450. I've owned both models of those bikes.
the one with half orange rims is 100% a 4 stroke you can tell by the rear can wich is normaly bigger than a 2stroke .. and the 2stroke front pipe in normally bigger than a 4strokes .... and plus the big give away is the sound 4stroke is deeper and lower pitch and a 2stroke is alot louder with a higher pitch .. hope this helps
Haha believe what you want to believe but the 4 stroke is a 2011 or a 2012 ... Go on the KTM's website or the KTM forum and have a look at past bikes or you could even look on google images It's Newer than the two stroke .... And i know this as i have a 2011 ktm 350 sxf You must not have followed KTM's production line over the past couple of years :/ :p
i'm sorry man they just aren't around i've done my research i know wat i'm talking about maybe there are a couple put there like i've said multiple times it could be a custom bore job whcih means having it machined and custom built for an oversized piston or stroked with a bored case....
KTM are known for doing the unique cc bikes, whereas most other manufacturers like Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki all do the 50/65/85/125/250/450/500, KTM do the 50/65/85/125/150/200/250/300/350/450, I guess that's because they have a larger Enduro range...never heard of a 225 though.
I think you're correct, but yet he is right. MOST FMX riders do use 2 strokes for their response and acceleration. But its all rider preference. I personally like 2 stokes, my friend like 4 strokes, haha. Im sure you get the point.
Is it really that hard for you to read the description? "Awesome 125cc and 225cc KTM 100 foot jump stunts." The uploader is the one riding the 250 so I think he knows better than you "mr. Online dirtbike expert"
dude....the "125" is a 250! just look at the pipe...look at the bend...on a 125 it goes staight to right but the 250 goes on lefa and then to right.....and the other is a 350....just by the sound....it's to loud for a 250 :P
they do not break a lot. but yes they are a little expensive. that is if you buy new. also unless your serious about riding then get a cheaper bike you won't know the differences between amazing and terrible dirt bike.
the bike with those half black half orange tires... what is it exactly? i want one and i going to austria next week where these are build so then i can pick up one already... thanks for your answers already
go listen to a video with a ktm 125 in it, then come back to this video, the sound is completely different, the exhaust is not aftermarket and is stock, go look at some photos ¬¬
ok, im tired of u nom nuts, here from a proffesional cross/fmx rider: first of allt the 4stroke is a 450, and the 2 stroke is a 300, and 150cc ktm is allways 2 stroke...
well neither are a 125cc there is a 2 stroke 250cc and a 4 stroke wat seems to be a 250cc as well but may be a 450cc no such thing as a 225 unless its a custom bore engine
Wheres the backflip... Wheres the backflip..... Come on it must be the next jump.... Or not ok they are moving the ramp getting ready for the backflip!!! Nope
not to be that guy but thats a 250 2 stroke and a 250f. the pipe bend goes out nthen in on a 250 2 stroke. still amazing stuff. i want a ktm but im not rich
It is a KTM 250 two stroke (ages 2007 to 2010) and it could be a 250 , 350 or a 450cc for the four stroke as it is either a 2011 or a 2012 model. Rant over.
