repairing power problem issue on the electric system .(caused by curossion)
and testing resistance ( function ) of the voltage regulating/ ac to dc unit on ktm duke 125
the reading shuld be simular on a functioning voltage control unit .
this unit is responseble for the charging ac to dc power convertion
on the duke eletric system simuler to inverter or power supply .
the main charging is inside the block in a shape of coiles that genereate ac power
and unlike a car alternator that generates dc volts

Greetings from india.Thankyou for this. My bike (ktm duke 200) used to bog when reaching top speed. These terminals were rusted. Cleaning this cured it the problem.thankyou brother.

this connector is the main power source of the duke coming directley from the stator coil (alternator in cars) it's AC power that is converted to dc via the voltage regulator (A FULL BRIDG RECTIFIRE ) ac dc converter .- curosion on the connector means no power . power will be limited or stopped - causing draining of the battery and bad or no ignition . you need 12v to run the fuel injector & fuel pump and the high voltage coil for spark .

my Duke 250, it indicate low battery sign, i have replace the battery still wont gone, then i replace the stator had same result. what should i do?

look for currosion on the wires and battery connectors and remove with sandpaper

Hi does this cause battery drain issue? Mine does not starts once it is kept standing for 4-5 days. Battery gets drained. Will this solution be effective?

unless you have a cheap alarm system or gps installed it is the battery that is weak most of the times due to long periods without use / discharge below 10v even one disscharge can kill the battery capacity * you can switch to lithum battery or deep cycle acid battery both can recover from a full disscharge with minimal power loss

@@MechanicsDIY hi thankyou for your reply. My battery is getting drained once charged. I have inspected the battery but as it is new so no chance of battery getting weak or damage. I have earlier replaced the stator coil for the same. If you know any other reason for battery drainage than do let me know.

Hello, i did the test, and mine got arround 730,730,730 is that bad? At the moment my battery is not charging, i turn on the engine and it still at 12v Do i need to replace the stator?

if your stator was dead your battery was also drained at some point if you can still start it means its still working but 12v is not good it's 14.2v according to ktm specs ps do not buy the chinees coils they are not good get the original

using voltmeter on battery terminals - with engine runing 14v is ok

you can just test the battery on idle (engine runing in neutral) and see if you have 14.2v if you have less then 13v somthing is no right

low battery will be solved after you charge the battery or replace it

Mine beeps on the lowest one and 750 on the middle and upper one

@@MechanicsDIY 12.2 volts , so i know its not getting power , but when i measure like you do , you have 850-850-850 , mine has 0-750-750
