@TheTomtz dude is riding what essentially is a dirtbike with road wheels and tyres. Supermoto riders do these to achieve a sharper lean angle. Some riders do knee-downs as well but for most the suspension and riding geometry of dirtbikes makes riding leg out(as you see in this video) more natural. A little research is easy to quell your ignorance but you must work hard to remain stupid.

Actually, Leg Down is a common technique used in Supermoto rides aswell as MotoGP itself.. Recovering from a lean angle or leaning normally where you don't need your knee, you put your leg down in those situations... Unless the tyre slip or something, the force of the bike alone won't pivot you on the ground as the leg strength itself builds a resistance between you and the ground...
