Very clean tutorial of changing engine oil and have been following all your videos and by your experience which engine oil performs better especially during hot summer MOTOREX or MOTUL 300V or MOTUL 7100...Thanks

Very nice and instructive videos. Nice to see and use. I have two questions: 1) which windscreen do you have?, 2) are you having any rust on your bike? I checked my bike (2,5 years old and 5.500KM) in detail, and I found a few rusty spots (few headers, clutch cable and some other bolts/even in the thread of the clutch cover protector), which quite upset me to be honest.

Hey, thanks🙂. To answer your questions: 1) Windscreen is Ermax "Nose screen" 32 cm, light black 2) Did not find any rust spots on the bike. On the header, it must be surface rust, meaning iron particles on the stainless steel. Bolts and clutch cable can be changed so not a burning issue (a little peace of mind) but I can feel your frustration. I ride my bike from spring to fall and try to avoid rainy days. Washing it once every 1 or 2 months.

I have previously used a Motul green oil in my bike and my service is due now. I thought of changing to Motul 7100 10W-50 engine oil which is red. Is it okay when the colour is changed? Will it cause any damage? Thanks

Hey, no issue changing oil to another. They are both synthetic so mixing is not a problem. I used 7100 red one before.

Very impressive! Seems like servicing this bike is very straightforward. How has reliability been for you and how many miles have you put on the bike?

Thanks. I have put 11000 km (6200 miles) on it. I am quite satisfied with it. No major issues so far. Yes, it is pretty easy to change the oil, no special tool is needed.

Thanks for the video, getting ready to do mine as well. What kind of seat do you have? Bike looks great!

Thanks, the previous owner had made custom seats. The middle black part is from the OEM seat cover, the side orange is colored leather and there are embroided KTM and DUKE letters on the center line.

How many miles you did on your bike, did you faced cam shaft issue?

@amitsaxenaofficialvlogs so far I have done ~8100 miles, no cam issue symptoms yet, but I have to check under the valve cover to make sure.✌🏻

Hello, I'm having truoble to find out how to replace the front footpegs of my ktm 790 duke, I can't find how to remove the locking pin. Do you have any idea of how to do that? Thanks!
@Mr.Bearded.Mechanic
@Mr.Bearded.Mechanic Год назад
When I put the rear foot peg sliders I had to use a punch and hammer to drive the pin out. There is also a circlip at the inner end of the pin that you need to remove. If you have no space to remove it I think you have to remove the foot peg assembly. Hope it helped
