That's amazing....everything's in house. I just purchased a 2010 KTM SX-F...with only 80 hrs on her,and let me tell you!You best hold on tight cause she's a 🚀!
Wow, compared to BMW's factory this complete chaos. this explains why my 3 friends that ordered the same bike got completely different mounting of their cable harness on all of their bikes...
Check out the SYM factory tours, same style of assembly, spare parts, bolts, screws everything there, no one controls how many pieces are set for each assembly. No standards at all, at each shift different general workers and different way of assembling!
People bashing them about how chaotic the factory looks compared to BMW or others. Well, this video looks like a normal day in the factory, no a montage cinematography one like the others brand.
You can never compare BMW with KTM , KTM are light year ahead of BMW , one good example that boxer engine ! Every year a bike with the same engine ! Just a few minor mods ! And by the way ,way more expensive 😔
Definitely, you can never compare the two. 😅 Just look at how they work at KTM and then watch a video about the BMW factory in Germani, amazing how clean and organized the Germans are. 💪 BTW, if BMW has a good engine, why should they replace it for another one? (Talking about the boxer one, not the other chinese Loncin make 💩). Like they say, "If ain't broke, don't fix it". 🤷♂️ Not like KTM that does what it does, have expensive bikes and for half of the price you can buy a CF Moto with the exact same engine and with the "same" technology. 👍
KTM & BMW both have factories in China, twin, three & four cylinder engines made in China.. Now I would like a 790 Duke or a 890 both made in China..... Should I buy one please tell me...
They make chromoly frames in the most powerful, lightest, billet machined parts equipped dirtbikes, and have somebody's grand mom lacing wheels like it's second nature, sure beats shit materials and automated mistakes that don't go noticed until every 100th part, looks like they have 100% qc in a smaller production shop where they don't take you out back to the concrete pad to blow your head off if you don't make the #ers
I doubt they all carry the Austrian engineering they once had.. The assembly plant looks disorganised and set up - set up to attempt to look busy for a tour of visitors arriving.
This is not cool. I am going to buy a Husky and I was afraid of future Indian manufacturing. But after seeing this I will probably wait until they are not anymore manufactured in Austria.
nice to see the LC4 and LC8. but they are shait bikes to drive in traffic. overheat at every traffic light or summer in traffic and jerking and bogging and stalling and fuel delivery and ignition issues. it's a shit bike. to fix it you need 2000 euros on aftermarket parts and a and 4 hours to a tuner to make the engine run normally, in traffic. and the excuse of euro3 and euro 5 and lean, none of that exist in BMW or yama or other brands. ktm is just shit if it comes to drivability in traffic. and if you have a rare specific engine issue behavior, then you can explain that to all garages, the closest one that can help you is 1500km from where I live. all others aren't even qualified to work on an lc4. even some ktm dealers are so stupid with it that they only can advise buying a new one, well if they cant fix a 5-year-old lc4 how would they fix a brand new one? it all starts with putting in the wrong oil. neglect of stalling bogging and jerkiness. only testing it on flat-out balls to the walls and driving 30kmh at 5000 rpm with a 690cc engine. how stupid is that?
If that was your job to lace wheels 8 hours a day 5 days a week probably for crappy money you'd look the same way too. That looks like the worst job in there.
