I have booked my rc 390 in Ktm mekhri circle and it's almost been 1 and half month. Still waiting...

Two factors- 1. Steady increase in prices across all their models. The new RC390 costs almost 4L on road. This was not the case when they launched. 2. KTM's brand image took a hit because of all the idiots who bought one and rode it like a maniac on roads. Police give them more attention, parents don't want to buy their kids a KTM, new buyers don't want to be associated with that "chapri" image etc.

@@pranav8234 I personally like the RR310 better so that's a win in my book lol. May not be as powerful but it has a lot more features and the suspension setup is awesome!

They need to launch the Husqvarna 401 models to get away from the hooligan market. I'm waiting for the Svartpilen 401 but Bajaj don't seem interested.

This a much better bike than ninja 300, if you're comparing this with ninja 400, then yes, that's a better bike, however its also 1.8 lakhs more..

@@kaustubhmore4887 you see, the piston rotates up & down with a single crankshaft, the crankshaft & piston are not symmetrical, so balancer will make the rotation feels symetrically balance for the rotating part thus it is called "balancer"

Two different machines with different characters, decide on the kind of the machine you prefer and also suits your style of riding.

Gt 650 would be better if you don't prefer electronics more

Same here I'm confused between gt 650 and rc 390

if you want the proper superbike feel then rc390 is the way to go, got a whole sweet of electronics, a featherweight bike making it easier to ride it in traffic zones has a windscreen for good wind protection when you go for long rides, else go for gt650 which has that old school charm and also has more top speed, more midrange and peak torque, little more comfy seats and more touring friendly but it weighs about 40kg more than the rc390 so it is gonna handle like a school bus in comparison to the ktm

Ninja is a sports tourer, the engine is more refined and better riding comfort , KTM RC is bit track machine

Engine of Ninja 300 is a gem and very much suited for touring. But what you will miss on Ninja 300 is the hardware - especially the brakes. Brakes on Ninja 300 are very weak compared to that on RC 390. IMO brakes are very important for long distance highway touring - when you are doing high speeds on our Indian highways you need all the braking power you can get.

The rear suspension currently offer a lot of travel. I liked it even when I was riding with pillion.

If you prefer sporty, the Duke 390 is more for you. If you’re more into classics/standard, then the CB300R is a fantastic starter bike.

Bro I'm also so confused I need to book it next month .....the problem is if I book duke this year next year the new model will be introduced 😹...but my mind stands 60% in duke 390

It depends on how responsible you are and what the traffic around you is like. 300cc Ninja is generally very manageable for most people…but for a complete beginner a 125cc is a better place to start.

@@durgaprasadketha9350 yes u can pick ninja 300 as ur beginner bike because the bike has linear power delivery in low and mid range and a higher topend. its very comfortable to move head to head traffic because of the linear power delivery. but first u have to control and confidence with the bike before going higher speed
