I show you how simple it is to work on one of these bikes with a 373cc ktm motor. #KTM #RC390 #MODIFIED Ktm oil change filter kit amzn.to/3SUGxzY Motorex 15w50 4T oil amzn.to/3Cpaf9j
Hi, I am the owner of a Duke 390 in Japan. I always use a suction cup to pull out the oil filter. I recommend it because it is easy and fast to remove.
It dosnt have a magnetic sensor on the shift lever like youre used to for aftermarket quickshifters. It uses an internal sensor. You should be able to buy it at a ktm dealer. I think its like 260 ish
Great 👍 vid man, thank you. I was just at the dealer today and they told me it's a half hour to reset the service light and you need to be hooked up to a special computer ahahahaha !
@@SeanFillner yeah knew they were full of it when they said that because I used to be a car tech years ago and our service writers would say the samething. I get it.
Hola te felicito por tu canal!! En mi pais para conservar la garantía debes llevar la motocicleta al servicio oficial para los cambios de aceite y te sellan e libro de revisiones
Wow! I was wondering what all the filters were for with the oil change kit. Well now I know. I let the dealer do my first maintenance. Next one I plan to do myself for sure.
@@SeanFillner just did it myself, honestly, yeah really easy and accessible for oil change maintenance. Only need to remove lower right fairing and that's it. The plastic on exhaust was needed as well.
Hey man is there any way you could post a video of you riding it with the exhaust change so we can hear the sound of it while riding? I have the same bike and am interested in the changes you’ve made to the exhaust. Also great videos I love the way you explain every step.
Nice video! Did u got any buzz sound from this bike?Mine got front window buzz, very loud when it working in 4000 RPM.(still solving it by trying take off the lights, just got the bike 1 week)
The quick shifter menu enables once u turn on kill switch , otherwise i guess u didnt buy the quick shifter variant…all the export models have optional quick shifter package…whereas, all the indian models have quick shifter by default
@@KetanChoudhury35 that's fantastic! I bought all 3 of my bikes around the same time so I have no idea what features are included on any of them until I perform the first service.
i recently purchased the same 2022 ktm rc390 and the quickshifter+ is not yet immediately installed. go back to the dealership and ask about it and they will install it after the first service. they immediately installed mine when i asked about it.
Nice and clear explanation👌 Which Engine Oil you recommend for KTM Duke 390 apart from Motorex bcoz it isn't available in our country and which one you pick Amsoil Metric 15w50, Motul 300V or 7100 or Putoline Ester Tech 15w50...Thanks😊
Is it just me, or is having 3 oil filters a little excessive? I mean these engines rarely make it over 50,0000 miles before a rebuild… Why are other bikes (I ride Kawasaki) fine just having one?
Not sure how you put that plastic on the header if the engine was up to temp before the oil change and it didn't melt? 🤔 BTW this is what aluminum foil was made for...
This video is terrible. Awful camera angles. Not giving correct information (it is a 18 or a 19mm?). Also the bike on the sidestand would help draining the oil. The oil strainers are perfectly reusable, they usually don't break, but you waste your money wherever you see fit
