KTM RC200/390 Chain Kit Replacement at Home without Chain Breaker tool. 

I did not know that it was possible to remove and put on the chains without the link pusher or breaker by removing the footpeg assembly. Thank you for this info :) I don’t have a link pusher: the part which you mentioned. Also, this is a performance machine and it is highly advisable to use a “torque wrench” to tighten back all the nuts and screws according to the workshop manual torque specifications of each nut as given by KTM. And in the manual it is given that the chain tension should be between 5-7mm after tightening. They designed the bike so their values make more sense to be followed. It is not 1 inch. Wrong information. But still, thank you for showing us that this process is possible without breaking the chain. Really appreciated, Sir. Johny

Seems the bikes over there has a hard life... lots of dust and dirt... The free play on the chain is 5 - 7mm measures from a specific point on the swing arm...

Helo sir i need a little help my bike is new actually it has done 2000km only in odo In first gear a chain noise comes from the front sprocket .. Whenever i pull the clutch in the Midway or whenever i release a noise comes like the chain is stuck the noise is big its like *ghattak* ... It happens in low gears .. What should i do .. Should i change the front sprocket ?? And I have tightened the chain ..still the sound annoys very much . Please help ... The bike is new Thanking you in advance
