The Union Oil Company has sponsored Los Angeles Dodgers games on television since the team moved to Southern California in 1958.

The United airline commercials had some nice tunes.

11:04 the voice of Bob Landers for Pacific Telephone. He was a popular DJ on WNEW-AM in New York City back in the early 60s, and then went on to be one of the all-time great voice-over talents.

That's Jose Ferrer's voice in the Schlitz commercial.

That KTTV broadcast of the Dodgers-Reds game was the second of a doubleheader on June 21, 1970. It would be the last game the Dodgers would play at Crosley Field before it closed just three days later. ( www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CIN/CIN197006212.shtml )

Marion Ross is in two different commercials in this video: a glimpse at 1:53 in the spot for the United Airlines credit card, and again at 5:08. At 3:11, the guy singing the jingle for United Airlines is Glenn Yarbrough ("Baby, the Rain Must Fall"). He also does the voiceover for the very next United spot. Roy Stuart from Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. plays the boss in that Winston ad (9:54).

Games from that era are the MLB I miss. In the field for the Reds on that day you had Pete Rose, Johnny Bench and Tony Perez, plus their center fielder Bobby Tolan could have been a potential Hall of Famer had it not been for an injury a couple of years later, with Lee May and Tommy Helms anchoring the right side of the infield; on the bench you had future MLB stars Dave Concepcion and Hal McRae. The Dodgers had future Hall of Famer, 300 game winner and member of the 3000K club Don Sutton, All-Stars Willie Davis, Wes Parker and Claude Osteen, plus future star Bill Russell. Future stars Steve Garvey, Bill Buckner, Ron Cey and Davey Lopes were in the minor leagues.

As a Reds fan I’d love to see the complete game. These commercials bring back so many memories. I enjoy all of the videos you’ve uploaded 😎

When did the Cincinnati Reds start playing at Riverfront Stadium? If I recall, the Reds played the 1970 World Series against the Orioles at Riverfront Stadium.
