KTUL had a lot of long-timers: Bob Hower, Don Woods, Jack Bunds, Chris Lincoln, etc. Glad to hear Travis is still going strong, even if it's at a different station.

I also liked the “Marines tried to not get involved” in Lebanon’s war. Then the Jews scapegoated Hezbollah after blowing up the Barracks. Isra-hell initiated a war that gave em a free source of badly needed water. How convenient.

Thank you for sharing this. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip down memory lane. Travis Meyer was still the man 37 years ago. Definitely remember Jack Bunds from the 80s. Also enjoyed watching the old-time commercials.

If Stanislav Petrov wasn't at his job, this video would have been interrupted by the Emergency Broadcast System and we never would have seen it posted on RU-vid.
