To french It's true that KTX is based on TGV's tech, and KTX sancheon got it partly, too. I think it's grateful to us. But please don't ignore KTX or say that KTX sancheon is from france, too. Although KTX series is made by french tech, korean engineers worked hard too, and studied to make KTX sancheon.
@@user-jj5yu3dt3w Well you're literally saying TGV is French. It is operated by SNCF in the first place. In the case of the KTX, it was adopted technology. Similar to how Indonesia's PT INKA adopted Bombardier technology.
I am a Korean. KTX has old models and new models, and the old model is a derivative model of TGV in France, and the new model is a complex train that can run two trains as one and is mostly developed with domestic technology.
2:05 KTX Sancheon train 408 That train is my favorite train of KTX Sancheon series in Gangreung-Line But it had drailed in December 2018 Because that causes of the branch rail signal error in South Gangreung railway turning point that train has fix in progress. The restoration is due in July. I hope it will be restored without any problems during repairs.
Extremely beautiful passenger trains, South Korea's got. Shame tho, all but moved so-slowly in only city-limit speeds. Hope too see much more spirited dash-bys, like one video here from Austria, going in & out of 2 tunnels. That 1 was very interesting.
If it weren't for the French transferring their technology to the Koreans there wouldn't had been a KTX-II train because you'll need SNCF Engineers to test them on TVM430 equipped tracks like Seoul to Busan via Daegu AFB Camp Henry or Seoul to Yeosu Honam High Speed line. To me it's a tie to both trains.
Mostly stuck in the vehicle base located in Osong, but you can occasionally (I say occasionally because I didn't saw them running around frequently) see them testing on HSR lines. Probably.
Hello I contacted you because I wanted to use this video. I am not trying to make a commercial video. I am working in a government office in Korea. Thank you for your reply.
