I guess Malaysia should stop focused on KL.. there have too many Skyscraper already around the city.. & that's make KL look overcrowded with many building, but they got less population.. try to invest on other populous city like Penang, JB, Kuala Terengganu or Kuching.. other country already have 2nd economics center while Malaysia only have KL..
That's why past gov want to upgrade and develop more infra outside KL like HSR, ECRL, and free highway like CSR (east coast) and Pan-Borneo. But some people want to see this initiative to be failed and we even tell outsiders not to invest here because we almost bankrupt. Don't you remember how bad we are as an embassador to our country? Did you know if we have good infra we can attract more investment and development to every place not just KL? Have you heard about term "greater KL", that's include Selangor and part of negeri sembilan. In negeri sembilan we have "Malaysia Vision Valley" valued 100B. HSR is essential to achieve all that. Many Singaporean will invest here since our real estate are cheaper and they can travel for few hours to arrived here. Now we lost everything because we are "too smart".
@@kuawangkumohamad3183 agree absolutely. Back then, the 22mth regime was so incompetent and hv no idea how to develop the country. too much damage was done especially of the infrastructure projects that was suppose to propel the country forward but evidently disrupted by the ragtag regime 22 who self destructed themselves spectacularly
If only the government creates a better investment climate, a stable politcal climate, more liberal economic policies and better rule of law, then KL can realise its potential to be the next SG or HK
@@akifiskandar4186 sadly it migw never happen due to dogmatic socio-political ideology instilled into the minds of the leaders and majority of the people
Excuse me it is. The earth's heart is in Malaysia. Malaysia does not change its history from the past till now.the leader country of Asia Tenggara. Tanah Melayu and Kepulauan Melayu was the name of the past but Indonesia has changed many histories by being the leader too. Even the government want to change history for the future too but we citizen will never forget it. The governmental way cannot force us to become stupid, because we had our minds that will never forget all the history. Even war that happened, my memory has become old and it will always lightbulb in my head🧓 @@sriwidodo5049
My parents did a event in the top floor of TRX like a few months ago. I went there with them and the place is still a construction site. The tower is open but all the others aren't. Very fresh paint/concrete smell
Teringin tgk Sabah Sarawak ada public transport bagai.. Tp tu lah, susah utk Sabah Sarawak dibangunkan dgn pesat..
Kena buat kilang Elon musk Kat Sana..Dan semua peeusahaan semi conductor Kat Malaysia Timur...asalnya semenanjung pun macam tu dulu.. buat infrastruktur, macam keretapi Dan lebuh raya dulu, mesti pelabur asing minat..Dan ramai orang datang kerja sana
Bila tiada lagi pembinaan bangunan tinggi di kl..
I believe KL should shift its focus away from skyscrapers, as the city already has an abundance of them. Instead, it could consider directing its attention to nearby older cities like Kajang or Klang. To attract more visitors, KL could showcase nature trails and create pedestrian-friendly streets that embody our culture. Another option would be to establish specialized areas, such as a mini Dhaka street or Jakarta street, to further enhance Kuala Lumpur's identity as a truly Asian city. This would contribute to making KL more vibrant and representative of diverse cultures in Asia
Look at Japan, South Korea, Singapore, UK and US. There's a reason why financial centers are located at CBD areas with tall skyscrapers. Malaysia wants to be a financial center, especially Islamic banking
Thank u for the pleasantries. We are a small country. Geographically, it feels that all these structural development is beginning to take its toll on its soil. Hence, more occurance of flash floods and sink hole and other geographical issues Which in many cases have been causing some infrastructural casualties among the people.... Plus, causing more and more issues to the environment.
A good idea to give KL more of a city vibe (high rise buildings and concrete everywhere do not necessarily create an urban feeling) would be to create a 2-3 kms pedestrian-only street somewhere, similar to Copenhagen's Ströget, or to Istanbul's Istiklar Street. It should be a 24-hour street full of high quality shops and services, good safety, atmospheric, in beautiful traditional architecture, that would make so much difference. These high-rise buildings look everywhere the same...
if only the cost of living is lowered a little with high salaries, surely Kuala Lumpur can accommodate a population of 15 million people with every house filled with Malaysians who can afford it
I stay opposite of the twin towers and im amazed at how underwhelmed I am about it all. I see soo much construction ... it is ridiculous! Glad Malaysia is developing but...i do wish they fix up the sidewalk to go from one place to another. lol! i want good sidewalks!
3:27 I know this sounds stupid and minor but just want to state that this is the AMPANG/Sri-petaling line LRT, bukit bintang uses the Kajang line MRT and KL Monorail, just a small correction.
many awesome modification scooters in India...but for European they love to see asean side like Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand....so we cannot blame them
But I also hear many says Singapore is the most un-ASEAN country. Serious travellers who wants to experience ASEAN would usually skip Singapore. That's what I was told.
*Welcome to Malaysia truly Asia good food, people beautiful beach, GOOD DURIAN TOO , skyscrapers & others, Msian likes to lepak Restaurant Mamak drink Teh Tarik, Likes to joining Malaysian, Welcome 🇲🇾💙🧡♥️💙🇲🇾*
Many foreigners said that Kuala Lumpur is sort of Asia's NYC! I don't know how true as I have yet to visit the Big Apple! Maybe the Government and the private property developers should bring parts of NYC to Kuala Lumpur and rebuild the former NYC's WTC here and invite Donald Trump to build his Trump Towers right here in Kuals Lumpur!
For the reason only to create more buildings?, then the funniest cost for maintenance is higher before the other capitalists also will rise and kill humanity itself. There is nothing wrong with having many buildings, as long as they are in the right place and with the right will. The important thing is that progress and humanity, tradition and religion go hand in hand. I don't want to see KL as a cyberpunk city, but Kuala Lumpur itself.
Anyone else here because of the wrong spelling of Kuala Lumpur (misspelled as Kula Lampur) 🤔 The content is great, however i do hope content creators will be more alert on the right spelling of cities/countries.
I hope gov of msia, will focus other states also like penang JB kuala terengganu etc. Like japan, they have develope city like osaka yokohama kyoto kobe sendai hyogo n many more 😊
@@jusketum greater KL hmm. Lebih baik focuskan kepada peparitan, idea mcm mana nk elak kan banjir dlm KL tu. Bngunan megah sana sini, tapi banjir besar tiap tahun.
I am Msian. For me it looks ugly to see tall buildings so close to one and another. Only Petronas twin tower looks beautiful but now I could hardly see it from afar, blocked by other ugly tall buildings.
I guess greenery made it better to KL landscape. Mny cities in the world started to plant trees n green parks since 80s..frm old style of" concrete jungle".. treeless cities. Thanks to KL city Hall..
The CITY HALL of KUALA LUMPUR is destroying rhe city, by approving more skyscaper.. KL need not to be NYC or Hong Kong. Within 5 years traffic will be worst. City Hall should promote Greater KL plan, which moving more development to outskirts of the city. Currently many highrise residential and office not occupied. Even a place called "little Hong Kong" a highrise residential project has been auction even before it is completed
