Love it, went a few years back. Enjoyed the different culture but as always, not as good as Thailand. Enjoy Besty!

KL aint no Thailand but I feel like its worth a 3 or 4 day visit. The food alone is worth it. Certainly not a great party city.

43% Malaysian Chinese population in Kuala Lumpur, not for the whole of Malaysia (that would be around 23%).

Beer expensive, Muslim country i just found it like any big city, i went to Borneo. Cambodia for cheap beer

Cheap alcohol in Malaysia can be found on the duty free islands, and in East Malaysia Borneo. In general, it’s expensive because of high taxes, not because of it being a muslim country (Malaysia is not a muslim country btw). Singapore also taxes its alcoholic beverages even more heavily than Malaysia (& Singapore is definitely not a muslim country).

Why have I met so many Malaysian men in Pattaya? Yes, really impressive buildings, but the "fun" is obviously a little neglected in this Muslim country. And what about the prices?

Prices of food very reasonable. Drinks quite bit more than Thailand but less than England.

The party areas in Kuala Lumpur are at Trec KL & Changkat BB. East Malaysia Borneo also has a livelier party & tattoo culture. Malaysia isn’t a muslim country though, only the minority of conservatives would like to think so.
