This is a very easy comparison. If you are looking for peace, quite & tranquility then KL is for you but if you are looking for party all night and sex, Bangkok is the place

Good comparision Bkk vs KL. Air quality & noise pollution KL is better than Bkk. Local purchasing power 147% higher in KL, how you calculate that? As net exporter of petroleum the cost of transport & overall cost of living will be cheaper in Malaysia vs Thailand as Thailand is a net importer of petroleum.

Thanks for your comment! That’s a good point about air quality and noise pollution. As for local purchasing power, it is typically calculated by looking at the purchasing power of buying goods compared to the average wages or salary of people in a particular city, and that percentage is an example from one site. 👍

@@chiangea3495 So you could look at the purchasing power parity per capita. For example, a different source shows Malyasia's purchasing power parity per capita is $14,735.97 and Thailand is $8,739.15. This means that Malaysia is about 69% more than Thailand (but I understand it's not as high as what Numbeo has). That 50°C in Bangkok is an exaggeration. If your girlfriend is Malaysian, you disqualify yourself from comparing any cities to KL. Lol

The graph goes up to 50 C for Bangkok but yeah, it definitely doesn’t get that hot and we can see that the averages are much lower. 😃 Also my wifey is not Malaysian so we good haha 👍
