I'm 1/2 Russian & 1/2 German & Russain my native language but I'm also hardly understand.... It's the storng Sothern Russia dialect or Ukranian language - It's the same.

Excuse me! Im your soul mate Astrid! Or at least you are what id invision my perfect mate to be. My story is a strange one. Born in the U.S. For some reason the study of Germany has called me my entire life. I started feeling like I was a freak. Why was i so into everything German? I was told I was English , spanish, Irish. Years went by. finally i decided to get a DNA test just because it was on sale. I knew what i was told i was. and it wasn't German . The day i got the test back i started to cry. No English, No Spanish , No irish. Just a map with a small explanation, and a circle on the map showing the area of my blood line. No wonder i've been so weird about Germany. The circle is directly over Germany saying you are Western and Eastern Europe 93 % then a smaller circle above Germany. 6% Sweden, Norway. Love to hear from Astrid even if were not soul mates =).

Greetings. And thank you. The DNA test is a very useful tool to better understand ones ancestry and I had used one myself too. I welcome your effort to learn more about your kin and the history and cultures of Europe. Hope the videos on my channel will be of use to you. Astrid .

@@VoluspaAstrid Thanks for the reply. I think i'm a few years older than you or id bother you a bit more about the soul mate thing ;) . I think i've been looking at your posts for about 2 years now. Im in southern Ca. Actually work in the film industry here. My family has been in the industry for 60 plus, years about. i don't know how id give you my email with out giving it to everyone on here. Not sure where your residing. But its good to have friends in Europe and if you/family/friends are thinking of coming to the U.S. be a honor to show you/family/friends around. And hopefully be nice to have good people to visit when i head to europe. Derrick
