Good video! Nice demonstration of the Kublai Khan TX (who did Self Destruct) style. Minor clarification: a different band from the '80s Kublai Khan Minnesota thrash metal band, Kublai Khan TX is a Texas hardcore metal band, with a great nasty sound! Check them out!

Yes, and the tuning peg too, you could probably get away with thinner strings for that tuning, I just like the higher tension

@@nikstrain yeah I prefer higher tension as well. (I hit the strings hard) Thanks for the info. P.s. did you just slowly drill the tuning hole or order a replacement?

I used a small round file from a guitar tool kit for that too cause I didn't have a fitting drill, probably not the best way, but it worked and still does :D
