I got the same tractor but mine has the cab. I been using that "cheap grease" since I started buying Kubota's back in the 90's and never had a problem. I grease the fittings Spring and Fall. No problems! You should wear rubber gloves, used oil on skin over long periods is a bad idea. 4.3 quarts.
Good Video, Just picked up my 2650 cab model 23rd of Dec 2017 from the dealer in Rickreall, Oregon. Great bunch of people, found a hyd leak on right side of FEL - both lines had a small leak, loosened and tightened 17mm nuts several times till leaks stopped, now I'm wondering how much fluid loss I've encountered, checked this yellow dipstick in the rear - which showed no presence of fluid when the tractor had been sitting shut off for approx 15 minutes, do you know where to refill the fluid?, is it the plug up next to this weird curved thing? thanks, Robert
I'm seriously thinking about a kubota this coming spring (2018). Not sure of the 2650 or the 3350. I don't know if there is that much difference between them. Going to use it for general maintenance i.e. snow removal, gravel and dirt on our small acreage place. I would like to have the loader with a backhoe with thumb attachment. As a 2650 owner, do you think I will need the extra 7 hp?
Steve Bouck obviously there is the 7hp but the 3359 also has the dpf (diesel particulate filter) for the exhaust. I know Kubota had a few issues with these early on but i believe they have been resolved. Personally for light maint the 26 does really well but not sure with the backhoe attachment. Might be worth working with a dealer to see if they may have a demo you could try or a rep could bring one out. Good luck with your purchase!
They say every 50hrs but since this was the break in oil change I decided to do it a little early around 30hrs just to be on the safe side. Congrats- I think you'll be happy with it! Let me know what attachments you go with!
Looks really clean, even for 30 hours! Just a snow plow for now. Already have a 6 ft disc and spreader. Gonna need a grader eventually too. .26 mile gravel driveway...
PAKraig I’ll grab the model number of the Land Pride landscape grader we bought- works fantastic for driveways! I’ll try to upload a video of that in use soon. Basically has two angled blades that pulls the rock up and feathers it out. The dealer we purchased from recommended it over a box blade and we are super happy with it!
TheJuice484 i do not yet, i have the manual but haven’t added up the hours yet to change them. I’m getting antsy though as i have bought the supplies to do it already lol. I plan on posting a video when i hit the hours!
Tyler Fellows yea I have read through the owners manual and talked to the dealer. There’s some debate when it comes to leaving the oil in there and just changing the filters. But I believe that it would be best to change the oil and the filters even if the oil isn’t due.
