I think i just found the perfect piece of equipment to get started on my 10 overgrown acres. Amazing work operating the machine made it look easy as cake. Am hyped for your kids having an awesome dad. props!
That’s awesome man!!my son is 3 and I can’t even get on the tractor without him wanting to ride lol he can empty the bucket and i let him steer it too..lol
I just can't believe how you are corrupting those 2 impressionable innocent children. They should be indoors, drinking a 2 liter of Mountain Dew, playing video games and listening to rap music. Hopefully they'll grow up ok in spite of your lack of providing a healthy atmosphere. Seriously, love seeing a Father pass on useful life skills and spending time with his kids. There's hope after all.
We bought our 2501 to work along the m7060 for lighter work, chores and landscaping, cant believe how much we have been using it, very impressed and dosent feel underpowered as i was expecting it to be!
I had to sub. Kids on a tractor with dad.. Thats pretty awesome. Im looking at the kioti 2601 or the 2501. Man these prices and availability have put a sour taste in my dry mouth.
Looks like you have a Pirahna Bar on the bucket at the 8:04 mark. I bought a BX2370 and had a Pirahna bar on it within a week. Besides filling the rear tires it is the first "accessory" I would recommend ... then the box blade for grading and rear ballast. Excellent setup you have on the Kubota!
I am finding from videos that a plain loader is lot stronger than a 4 in 1 bucket. Mine these days barely get anything done as the hydraulic hoses seem to be in the way that could snap off and the bucket has badly bent doing basic chores such as lifting rocks or clearing small rocks! I used to do a lot more using the 4 in 1 bucket that came with a Mahindra tractor but the tractor was a dud so I sold it and none of the tractors I have bought since have a strong bucket. Next time I will just get a loader.
Good work. Slow and steady. I am starting to learn how to use my loader a little better. I have the l2501HST. Seems like you're running in low RPM and getting the job done. It seems like I almost have to run almost at PTO RPM to do the same thing.
deer rudy i have a gear drive,i use the foot throttle when i need more rpms,i usually keep my rpms around 1600 and use the foot throttle for more power when using the loader..thanks for watching bud!
@@Bamacountry88 thanks good to know. You make it look easy.. Thats the advantage of the foot throttle too can control rpms easier. I'm getting to learn this tractor. I guess with practice. Thanks bud
Good videos Bubba. You get a lot of performance out of this Kubota. I do what you do for a living. Clearing, grading etc. Do you think this Tractor would do the job for me or should I go bigger? I started out with a 33 HP LS. That was a very good Tractor no problems. Then I sold it and bought a 5000 series John Deere. The Deere loader lift is 3,600 lbs that sold me on the Tractor but after 80 hours I found out for this residential work I have way too big a Tractor. Not to mention the AG tires leave large tire tracks wherever it goes. Lastly, on a Construction site when picking up a bucket of gravel or dirt, the Tractor's bucket is so large and strong after picking up the load the Tractor teeters, wobbles and will turn over if you don't drop the bucket. Thanks for sharing. Mark.
Thanks brother! If you’re gonna be making a living with it then i would suggest a larger tractor, the L2501 with and grapple and backhoe would probably to most residential jobs I would think but I would hate to steer you the way, check out Louisiana tractor works and projects on RU-vid,he has a business and uses a massey subcompact with a backhoe and also has a bigger tractor as well but he could help you more on what would be the right tractor for the type of work you would be doing..I appreciate you watching bro
@@Bamacountry88 Thanks for the information. Love your property. On another note I would assume by your title you are an Alabama Crimson Tide fan! Me and my family are all GA. Bulldogs! But if you know The Lord there is peace with all men!
Thanks for the vid. I'm looking at getting the same tractor, even gear drive. I keep hearing gear drive sucks for loader work. Doesn't seem to bother you any. Are you still happy with getting gear vs hydrostat?
Yes sir, once you find the right gears for scooping and traveling with the loaded bucket it is a breeze,i go into a pile in L-1 and travel in L-3 and I’ve found that’s the most efficient way for me to move lot’s of dirt..if i had to do it again I’d still go with the gear drive..thanks for watching bud
Thanks man. Sure seems like it would be nice to not hear the HST whine and higher revs. I think this has convinced me to get gear drive. Plus it will save me $1500 or so.
how is the 2501 getting up hills? any lack of power? I have hilly terrain and have heard comments stating it lags on steep hills. any input ? thanks in advance.
